Oh my gosh, I never thought I'd agree with this woman.

Nevere say never I suppose. I don't think she'd cry as much as the new "Weeper of the House."

Sadly, I recall that I was prone to such unintentional emotional outburst back when I was drinking professionally.

Palin says she couldn’t get away with crying like Boehner

In an interview with Good Morning America's Robin Roberts, the ex-Alaska governor was asked about incoming House Speaker John Boehner's tendency to get weepy. While Palin said she had "respect" for Boehner's emotional side, she suggested he gets a "pass" because he's a man.

Speaking of double standards, I don't see where she told him to "Man Up" though which has been her frequent past battle cry. Hypocrite indeed.

Telling people to man up while showing cleavage is almost a subliminal thing but is a great tactic for her.Crying would only bring ridicule.I fear for the US if she becomes your next president.

Palin should pay more attention to the BS that comes out of her mouth on an almost constant basis than other people. Who's actually going to vote for this abomination?

Remember when politicians crying were seen as almost sinful. A politician that got choked up would try desperately to hide it, then deny it.
Back then, people quietly acknowledged the slight twitch from a politician to be equal to balling their eyes out. It was telling, it made them human, but composure was not lost.

Now, for some reason, the right wing is like the freaking crying man on some of the most mundane of things. Obviously they got this new cool cue from glenn beck..and they know who their audience is, so yep...tear it up men..cry over someone retiring, cry over talks of christmas, mom and pop, the good ole 1950s, etc...the people will eat it up.

Can you imagine crying at your workplace when discussing someone retiring or wanting to get back to the roots of the business model? man..you would be all but shown the door for being unstable and creepy,

If a politician is up there discussing how his offspring just died, or dying..sure...choke up a little bit..THAT is what humans do..not cry on tv about a freaking ideal, or a retirement...grrr..why are people soo damn stupid to buy into and allow this!

Oh, and ya...if Sarah was doing what Boehner and Mitch do, she would be crusified...and frankly they should also be crusified.

If she crys when dealing with life or death of her personal family...that would be fully acceptable, so long as it was not right on camera purposefully.

-cries- I remember a time in America when leaders and men would not seem like a emotional mess..-sobs uncontrollably- Those were the good days in America, when a man would go off camera to shed a tear -breaks down, snot hanging from nose, tears puddling- Can we get to that point again America? -runs off crying-

Not sayin Palin would do a good job as President, but atleast she has a little ( not much ), but a little better idea than Obama does on monetary policy, and fiscal responsibility. Like her or not, her history of mayor, and governor, has shown increased economic growth in her state. What did Obama's history show? oh that's right......it showed him to be at the very least " present ".

Boner does cry a bit doesn't he...
I wish I was as in touch with myself as he is, its healthy.
Palin is probably right, people would be fearful of her hormonal cycle if she
balled as much. But really, all that matters is Free Trade 2.0 -
Wish the Tea Party would have the sense and fortitude to be up in arms about that,
if anything is a threat to America. Maybe if we call it socialisms and carry signs with quotes

Anyhow their boys will be the ones with the ball; they will slam dunk it through Americas wavering
pre corpse in the name of Freedoms!!! Like a snake eating its own Ass, god bless, Lead the Charge

Mayor of Wasilla: 20 million$ debt.
Governor of Alaska: Sold alaska to Exxon, then quit

So...as POTUS, she would simply sell America to Saudi Arabia, then quit I guess...and that would be the -good- result if we judge previous actions of her leadership

I believe the boom to Alaska was more a riding of the petrol wave.

But, I guess she maybe sniffed a Boehner presidential run in 2012, and these are the opening shots.

She signed a contract for a $26 billion natural gas pipeline with TransCanada Corp. To help Alaskans with high gas prices, she gave a one-time $1,200 tax rebate and repealed the state’s 8-cents-a-gallon gasoline tax for a year. The funds for these consumer rebates will come from a windfall profits tax she imposed on oil companies last year.

Palin's commitment to fiscal responsibility would be good for the economy. Before becoming Governor, Palin was Mayor of Wasilla, where she cut property taxes 60% while spurring economic growth. She sold a $2.1 million corporate jet bought by her predecessor, and cut $231 million from Alaska's $550 million capital budget.

I'd say she know's what she's doing?

But her state is Alaska and she was all down for drilling.
Doesn't make her any better.. she was wasteful and down with earmarks.
She doesn't know anything that is going on in the world.
She is a fame whore, a quitter, a hypocrite, stupid, acting exploiter.

I hate her. But hell might as well put her in nothing can fix this mess. At least I can get a laugh out of it.

Though i agree she's a typical politician, you claimed she's stupid..and just that is debatable. Stop and think, She's wrote a book, has her tv show, and gets paid to make appearances. I'd say she's pretty smart considering no other crook..er..politician has done the same. Yes, some have wrote books, but never capitalized on the possibilities.

She didn't write the book...she made some post-its and let others write it.

And are you saying politicians need to have a reality show/ campaign to get to the people?
actually, sadly..you may be right. People love their reality shows.

Perhaps congress should work like big brother..then people might get interested in politics

No, I was simply identifying her ability to market herself, and collect the proceeds from that effort.

Yeaah.. I bet she wrote that book.
The kids on jersey shore have a t.v. show and make a load of money.
Paris Hilton gets paid to make appearances at parties.
Palin is an idiot she has shown time and again.
