This may not sound like a lot of job cuts but it will most certainly increase un-needed pressure on the UK Gov, And with all the recent riots certainly the last thing they need to do is Cut funding to the Local authorities. and Cut jobs in the public sector.
The worst thing is that the news page clearly states that jobs Will be Axed over chtistmas which is Very christmassy of them dont you think?!

THANKYOU Once again Cleggoron you combined Prats..

Cut the local authorities, but maintain the federal authorities.

Anyone else see a problem here?

The way they're going, they'll soon be rounding up half the population and wiping them out...

"Well," says Cameron, "It's just surprising that nobody thought of this before. If there's half as many people, there is half as much debt - not to mention the reduced costs for the NHS."

Nick Clegg agrees that while the population cuts deviate from his original policies, they nevertheless serve the interests of the British public.

"For those who are left," he commented, "We will see no further reductions in public spending until next week, and we are pleased to be announcing that the ministers will this year be receiving a christmas bonus of £ 5 million each, which would have had to be forfeited if we'd been unable to get the population cuts through commons."

(NB, this post is a joke, I do not actually think that Clegg and Cameron are planning to wipe us out. At least, I hope they aren't).
