"ISLAMIC countries should consider sending troops to help stabilise Iraq now that an interim government is in place, Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi told the official Bernama news agency today.
Mr Abdullah is the current chairman of the 57-nation Organisation of the Islamic Conference, the world's biggest grouping of Muslim countries."

I am not qualified to comment on this, suffice to say wouldn't the new Iraqi Army
see this as other Muslim countries saying, maybe you need some help?

The Iraqi government has already asked for troops from some Islamic countries.
Jordan has offered but been turned down as the new administration wants troops from non-neighbouring countries.
