how many people seen god?

Billions of people throughout time. Now most of them weren't seeing the same God(s) but there have been billions of people throughout human history who have had religious experiences.

1) Eye witness testimony does not count as scientific evidence - human perception is unreliable (that's why science relies on instrumentation)

2) There are massive differences in the kinds of UFOs being seen and how they are described throughout history. If you get to lump them ALL together and claim they are fact than what is stopping me from doing the same with the god(s)?

Personally...I believe in UFOs/Aliens/etc...the whole kit and kaboodle, however, I will wait for proof before waving the flag of demand that it is a absolute truth.

I am endlessly disappointed at the threads in this forum that claim proof, then the poster ending up giving some lousy youtube footage of an airplane, or some unsourced light in the sky, etc...

very frustrating..I wan't it to be true, Which makes me exceptionally skeptical about claims overall...the faster we weed out nonsense, the faster something may arise.

Nope. Never seen god and never seen an alien.
I've also never seen an alien on a photo or video.
Until someone can provide an actual alien you're simply believing in something entirely on faith.

Do you want to believe so bad that you just look past all the facts??? Is your life so boring and miserable that you HAVE to believe in them, or you have nothing else to live for?

I disagree to a point...not fully, but I think likelyhood needs to be brought into play here.

it is perfectly reasonable and rational to believe in the existance of extraterrestrial lifeforms in the universe..it is near madness to deny such claims. I wont go into a long detailed explanation why, but if your much of a thinking person, you will know the argument for it by now anyhow.

It is faith to start putting motivations on said species, or start remarking on anything about them beyond their potential and likely existance of course...but a full dismissal based on lack of proof seems unreasonable considering...

I agree that it is reasonable to suspect that life probably exists somewhere else in the universe - though as of yet we have not discovered any.

I don't dismiss the likelihood of life elsewhere in the universe. I do dismiss the likelihood that aliens species are traveling to earth in spaceships and concealing themselves to everyone except the governments (which are somehow successful in maintaining this huge secret) - simply because there is no evidence of it. When someone presents this as a "fact" it should be no surprise when someone comes forward and asks for valid supporting evidence.

well in 1980 i was an aircraft recognition and weapon specialist "EXPERT" at the 1st of the 59th ada B battery in wackernhiem germany connected to the 8th infantry division at lee barracks mainz. my MOS was 16r10, i was born in 1962 and am 48 years old.

Fair enough...but I will even put more context into your speculation box

Which one would be more suprising to you

Proof of a biblical God given beyond a shadow of a doubt...voila...its all true, 7 days, mudman and ribwoman, etc...People suddenly realize indeed God does hate people who eat shellfish, or slaves that run from their owners..also not a fan of homosexuals..but does enjoy the smell of burnt offerings

or

a advanced race of beings mapped out the planet because...for some reason, they enjoy knowing what is where in the same way we map out everything we can from our little rock. Some meetings with the leaders of this planet has occured, but it was decided that they would keep things quiet in order to maintain peace and control overall in the population until such a time as media and mindset introduced this new revelation to a pretty ignorant population

Again, there is no way for me to know this is truth..you can have a resume 4 miles long, but until there is some way to verify, then it could be just elegant fiction.

Go figure, people lie on the internet to give themselves false credibility and authority.

I was the secret 5th astronaut in the original apollo mission.

Anyhow, I am not doubting your claims, or even your stand..just saying without proof, either in the alien claim, or even your credibility claim, its all just a system of what a person chooses to believe..all things equal.

And belief should never be passed on as some absolute truth of the universe without proof...thats dangerous.

Again, I don't have the burden of proof. Those with the unbelievable claims do. I will hold them to it, especially when they present their claims as being factual.

I don't care to convince you or anyone to my way of thinking. That's not my intent. My intent is to arrive at the truth by cutting through the B.S. with the best tool imaginable: the requirement of evidence. And at the end of the day, at least I can rest assured that the things I believe are backed by evidence.

who created those scientific instruments? a human... so if i understand you correctly, human perception is unreliable, but the instrument that a human perceives to be scientific IS reliable? idk...

I'd be equally surprised if someone provided proof and evidence of either of those scenarios.
But sure, alien life seems way more plausible than religious claims.
Neither are believable without some kind of valid evidence.
