Aliens Are Here To Stay, "Get Use To It"

I think the use of quotation marks in the title of this thread suggested to me that this was an opinion-based piece.

Drummer man - take your shenanigans elsewhere. AlienGenes stated in the OP he wasn't here to provide facts. We're allowed to speculate and share opinions you know. It's quite a normal thing to do. It'd be quite hard to come up with the resources to 'prove it'. We'd probably have to knock over the Federal Reserve or something. Oh wait a minute - 'someone' beat us to it.


OP - I agree. I see them all the time, and have done for over ten years on and off (depending on where I've lived).

This will all play out very soon, and we can expect to see some miraculous things over the next couple of years.

I'm writing a novella at the moment regarding the possible religious allegiances of 'aliens'. Watch this space. Literally - ha!

The burden is not on a "debunker" to disprove what someone believes is evidence. The burden is on those who make a claim to support it with evidence. Blurry photos & videos and personal stories are evidence of nothing. Show me an alien. Show me a spaceship. Let's get a hold of it and test it. Without it you've got nothing but some blurry photos & videos and a bunch of stories.

He claimed that things were no longer a matter of belief, but fact - in the opening sentence. If he's not here to provide facts, why is he providing them?

Likewise, we are allowed to ask for verification of claims. Particularly those that are claimed to be fact. If the OP cannot back his claims then he/she can take their shenanigans elsewhere.

Obviously the OP did not make this thread to prove anything, he more so wanted to express his opinion based on plenty of anecdotal evidence that has factual evidence to back a lot of it up.

Requiring evidence of a series of fantastic claims is entirely contextual. And if his anecdotal evidence has some factual evidence behind it, as you claim, I believe we all deserve to know what that is.

Its hard to prove something when people don't accept Video/Photographic/Eyewitness/Testimonies as evidence.
Just recently military personnel have spoke at the "National Press Club" of how UFOs have turned off Nuclear Missle Silos and so on. Also, the many Astronauts that have given flat out descriptions and accounts of UFOs in space.
As far as actually seeing the beings, plenty of people have, they are called "abductee's."

Also I would suggest that you look UP to the sky more because plenty of normal folk see true UFO's (not planes or balloons) everyday.

satellites don't fly at 10,000 ft or below and they surely aren't solid RED and sometimes hovering


wouldn't you think i would know by now what a satellite, the space station and airplanes are after 48 years of watching the skys and being a decorated military air defense specialist?

So you see something you can't identify in the sky. Why should I believe that these are aliens? Especially if nobody can identify what they're seeing.

Please don't make assertions like this. Asserting such ideas as fact without providing evidence is as sloppy as can be. You're wrong. There are plenty of people who do not believe aliens are visiting us - I'm one of them.

This is another thing I can't stand about people making absurd claims without evidence. If its all secret where exactly are you getting your information? If its SECRET, as in no one knows about it but the ones involved in keeping it secret, than how can you assert to know, as a fact of life, that aliens are visiting us? While its true that the government or religious establishment are keeping a lot of secrets to assert as fact that aliens are one of them and not provide any evidence is a bit out there even for this site.

Seeing a UFO proves nothing. I've seen a UFO myself. Do you know what I think it was? I don't know - it was UNIDENTIFIED. The fact of the matter is that human beings are bad at identifying objects in motion in the sky and leaping to the alien conclusion produces baseless assertions like the one you opened this post with.

Boy do these aliens sound just like a God. Waiting for us to believe is what you're saying - waiting for us to be gullible enough to accept something for which there is no solid evidence? If the aliens want their presence known its very simple, all they need to do is land a spaceship on the white house lawn, land in a couple other major cities and show themselves to us. Once science has studied them for a bit and determined that they are alien THEN I will accept their existence. Call me a doubting Thomas but Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

It certainly would be nice to live in peace and harmony, aliens or not.

No, things should definitely be talked about and investigated. Once someone draws conclusions and expresses them as a fact, they need to support it.

This is the argument from authority. Ed Mitchell went to space and he believes in all kinds of ridiculous, unprovable stuff. I don't care how many credentials someone has. Their claims must also be backed by evidence. We don't give passes on this simply because of someone's accomplishments.
