I got two songs that I think were better covered than the original, and whats odd is they are songs by my favorite two all time bands but these covers really rock.

Check these out if your interested:

"No Quarter" - Tool >>>> Absolutely the best.

"Astronomy" - Metallica

And honorable mention "Turn the Page" - Metallica.

Anyone got any good covers?

my favorite covers would be when my band covered (or...WILL cover..) What a Wonderful World by Sam Cooke, all of Weird Al's covers, and the armageddon song (Dont Want to Miss a Thing?) covered by new Found Glory. NFG's cover CD is probably the only respectable CD that band has hahahhaha.

dude, the apocolyptica covers...sure the riffs and such are good but the voice used..just ruins it, you dont use that singing style with that stylw of rock...i wanted to scream listening to that.

anyways mine is

pantera - electric funeral(black sabbath song)
primus with ozzy - NID(again black sabbath)
