*does nothing

you hit the nail on the head sir.

Also, this guy stammers like a drunk and the entire speech served no purpose, now let us pray. Such a waste of time.

Well at least they're coming out and saying it now, eh? That it's a war of conquest, in a thinly veiled false-attempt at "freeing Afghanistan", they are now saying "We cannot conquer Afghanistan."

It's been nothing but a crusade. That's what it's always been, and that is what it will always be. There is nothing to be gained from a war in Afghanistan. Only the most ignorant among us will claim there is a purpose, and that purpose tends to be along the lines of "We're tough.", and almost always referring to the war as a "game", that must be won, or needs to have different "strategies".

It has always been a crusade for the war lusters.

That's right.

There are only losers in war.

I wonder what form of punishment this courageous man is going to receive from the party establishment and those who fund his campaigns.

Well at least we now know there are more Conservatives standing up and actually following the true Conservative beliefs of limited warfare. There is absolutely no reason that we are still in Afghanistan, I personally believe we should never have been there, but realistically when the Taliban was overthrown we should have left. The only Americans that should have stayed in Afghanistan were those who give aid and quiet assassins to take out Al-Qaeda.

There was never a need for this way and it has taken 9 years but we are finally seeing who the real Conservatives in our government and political world are. Ron Paul, Walter Jones, and all the other Conservatives who express the true Conservative principle of non-intervention and true fiscal conservatism, this man is outstanding.
