Funny how politics works out. In 2008, American Patriots were ready to kiss America goodbye. America has succumbed to socialism/communism.

In 2010, there is actually some rejoicing as to Obama's presence. Obama in the White House has rattled a previously lethargic Patriotic community.

The Presidency that Saved America

In fifty years, I have little doubt that we will regard the administration of Barack Obama as the presidency that saved America. No, not in the sense that Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann, and all the other media John the Baptists foretold, as they proclaimed, the coming of our political messiah just over two years ago. Rather, the history of our time will show that it was the radical nature of Obama's dogged devotion to a liberal progressive philosophy far out of the American mainstream that jolted awake a generation of

Thank you Obama for reminding us what we as a nation must stand for

-We must make corporations people
-We must ensure the richest 2% of the country gets all the benefits
-We must ignore those whom have lost everything
-We must ignore 9/11 first responders dying from illness recieved saving Americans
-We must make sure never to use diplomacy when talking to brownies
-We must ignore environmental science in favor of corporate lobbying
-We must remove benefits and help to the poor so that the rich may get benefits and help
-We must value ego over life
-We must value chatter over substance
-We must laugh at those whom voice concern about unhinged capitalism without controls
-We must denounce corporate controls to make sure our food isn't infected

Mr. Obama...understand, We Americans are literally in -LAST- place in the industrialized world in regards to education. our reading, math. We do not need rational and reasonable presidencies that put forward thoughtful plans..we need cowboys that will set up a class of wealth to rule over the rest while we watch nascar and collect ammo for the end days.

Mr. Obama. Socialism is only for the rich in America...the peasent class is a capitalistic society where they need to fend for themselves. This is the tradition started by the messiah, Ronald Reagan..

Mr. Obama, you fail to understand the typical American...and you need to leave the country once your term has ended to a nation more befitting your style, like Finland.

(incidently...can I come with you?)

Bah...

I like Reagan as a speaker and representative of the US..he truely was a cool president
However, his fiscal philosophy is an incredible disaster. The biggest problem is that they associate the man Reagan with his fiscal policy which is absolutely disasterous to the economy and national debt.

Reagen was a pragmatic man..very much a patriot and unquestionably wanting the best for America...howeever, if he was alive today, full of wit, and seen both the results of trickle down economics in a absolute factual just the numbers way...I believe he would (begrudgingly) admit that trickle down philosophy demonstrates its ineffectiveness, and more importantly, it produced the exact opposite of what he was hopeing for.

More millionares created under him is actually -not- a good thing. it means what he did was increase the wealth disparity massively...and in any civilization, that is not what you want to do. the middle class is the lifeblood of a nation.

Come to think of it...I am not sure he would outright admit it didn't work..he was a bit of a partisan..however, he would have subtly tried to take measures to curtail the damage done. Meh...actors..ego..

He deserves a stamp...sure...his personality was very cool...but do not mistake the personality with the policy..the coolest guy in the world may have some issues balancing his checkbook.

Oh, come on. If Reagan had made you a millionaire, you'd be so happy you couldn't sh__ straight. What's got socialists/communists angry and depressed is that they view their lives as failures. The best way for them to cope is to blame that feeling of failure as being someone else's fault. It's a Darwinian world. A food chain. Buy yourself as many Reagan 44 cent stamps as you can send Christmas Cards with.

In a darwinian social world, I would simply shoot a millionare and take what he has.

You misunderstand..people were not going from middle class to millionares, they were going from upper middle class/rich to super rich. This is =not= an economic model you want. You clearly do not want to consider a economic model, and instead use terms like socialism around, with no understanding of what a socialist economy is.

The anger is the fact that high income tax brackets get over three thousand time more benefits towards their taxing than middle class.

Reagan was a big proponent of socialism...but only for the wealthy...the lesser ones deal with capitalism..aka, good luck.

This model will be the destroyer of America...glad you are championing the fiscal destruction of the country...are you intentionally anti-american, or just accidently that way?

Puh...lease. There you guys go again talking as though Obama created Marxism in any of its many forms that all amount to the same finality. It's been tried before. It was called the Soviet Union. And the Soviet Union failed.

Now, if you want to try Marxism/Socialism/Communism in a form that is economically successful, then you have to live like the Chinese. You can pretend to assimilate many millennia of Confucian/Taoist/Zen thought in a matter of days. That, or like many other progressive American college student, take an eighteen week course in Eastern Philosophy to fool yourself into thinking that you've got Chinese thinking down to an easily assembled erector set of the pscyhe.

Then when you are thinking like a Chinese, you can start complaining like a Chinese that your personal standard of living is making you unhappy. You can move to Hong Kong in an attempt to make a fortune in the Kung Fu Movie genre. Oh, the eighteen week college course in Eastern Philosophy doesn't qualify you to be another Bruce Lee? Well, there goes yet another business venture down the drain.

Still, you can use the excuse that you weren't really prepared to excel like a Marxist entrepreneur.
