For about 2 years (since I found it) I've considered that video of Tx floods to be the best guitar solo I've ever heard. It's simply astounding.

I saw BB last year, he still rocks. I saw Buddy Guy earlier this year with Robert Cray, dude looks and acts 30. Both astonishing players. Here's my contribution:

Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings are carrying the torch. They do it like the classics of Atlantic. If they were around in the 60s, they'd be part of everyone's back-catalogue and would've shared the bill with guys like Aretha and Otis. They're on the Dap Tones Record label alongside similarly impressive session players and soul belters.
