Lets see, seeing how you used to post Glenn Beck all the time... But stopped for some reason...

Yeah....started thinking on my own. I've got a long history here....feel free to check it all out. I don't hide from who I am...unlike some others here.

Hmm, could it be because he told the world just how pathetic unions are... just how corrupt they've all become... and just how worthless it is to even work with unions?

heh...NO. In fact I used to be very anti union...I'm not in one myself either.

Not only that, I get to see union workers and hourly paid people every week, and I wouldn't give two cents to save a union job, but I might pay that much for a bullet to help make them all disappear.

I work with lazy people every day that aren't in a union. And it's good to see you that you'd like other fellow Americans killed for.....what is it again?

And what the hell does calling a collection of States a Union have to do with forcing people and governments to pay ridiculous prices for workers?

You stated it was funny. You still have a chance to disprove it. What constitutes ridiculous prices? I can tell you aren't very educated in this matter. You should read more. Stop watching corporate news. What do you do for a living? Making lots of mullah?

Union of States, and stealing that word to make your crimes seem less evil, Is Laughable!!!

"State of the Union". Abraham Lincoln waged a Civil War to SAVE THE UNION.

Let alone how corrupt and pathetic unions are politically...

WHAT ISN'T? Do you think SHELL OIL isn't corrupt? For cripes sake...your favorite news channel is owned by Rupert Murdoch, who is australian born and only been a registered US Citizen for a few year....he is married to a Chinese woman...he owns Chinese and Saudi Arabian media companies and has worked with both of those governments.

You get your news from him.

unions are absolutely hell bent on turning the United States into a socialist country

Unions are hellbent on protecting the jobs, wages, and benefits of the people who support them.

It has shrunk and is the process of imploding while, on the other hand, corporate profits have sky-rocketed. But I guess you knew that so I'm preaching to the choir.

Which is the entire point of anti-union sentiment. Without unions, we have no middle class. Without a middle class, we we live bondage.

Sad thing is....I used to share many of the opinions of Little Bunny. I honestly did. I used to argue tooth and nail with people on this website over it.

I have probably posted more Glen Beck vids than anyone here....and damnit I was wrong all along. Are unions perfect? Absolutely not....nothing is perfect. Everything has a shade of corruption in it....it's within people's nature.

The bottom line is....Unions have been protecting American jobs since they were created....and they are turning into an endangered species...yet somehow during their decline the last 30 years...certain media claims they have gotten stronger which is absolute nonsense.

Union membership is in single digits right now. It was in the 20's when reagan was President. The tax rate on the wealthiest was FAR FAR higher when the middle class was at it's strongest...when only one parent had to work....which to me has STRONGLY affected our youth and their education as parents simply can't spend the time with their kids as they used to.

Nobody hates rich people; it’s just that when their taxes are higher the economy is better

They did attach S-510 to the FY2011 budget.

So it's 99% sure to pass. If they don't pass FY2011, the government shuts down for a month +.

BTW unions are as good and bad as the people in them. Overall they are good for the society.
The concept aided in providing things like:

Child labor protection, remember in the early twentieth century they worked children like slaves in those factories.

The 8 hour day
Minimum wages
Decent and safe working conditions
A middle class salary
benefits

Without unions we would be virtual slaves in this country because we would be dependent on the same kinds of people with the destructive capitalist mentality that destroyed the economy, or tried to, in 2008

yeah...it stinks. But regardless of media coverage, Bernie was a huge hit on the Internet. Many people were watching.

I'm craving for real change. We deserve better. Those I disagree with deserve better.

Cripes I hope he runs for Pres. We need it. Imagine him in a presidential debate...everyone would see it....and majority would agree with most of what he stated.

They have to know it in their hearts what is right......

Banking...why does banking only seem to benefit wealthy people? Banks are great if you have so much money that you need help managing it. But if you don't, then all a bank is is a drain on your bottom line.

But regulating banks or taxing them progressively would constitute a tyranny, right?

Outsourcing is another issue. Call center jobs are good jobs. They can provide a good income for younger people who have not gained job skill, or older people who just never really picked up a lot of job skills. And call centers are perfect fits for rural America, where the middle class is getting clobbered the worst.

Right on the money (or the current lack of it). So, legislating foreign based call centers out of existence would be a good start (which I seriously think), but -- wouldn't that be a form of tyranny?

What the Dems seem to want is to only give tax breaks to certain people, while denying them to others (the "wealthy").

That is unAmerican. I don't care who the party is, or what their platform is, it is tyranny to tax people more just because they make more money.

There should be a simple consumption tax levied. That would achieve the desired result of taxing the wealthier people more heavily.

But what the Dems are doing is pure tyranny. No, i do not support it.

So every group pays the same taxes currently? Maybe I missed where republicans are pushing for a fair tax?

I'm 100% on board with you about a consumption tax if it wasnt allowed to have loop holes. I say we should also not all non profits like churches. Make the church or any religion pay tax. If you do this then we don't have a money issue.
