Here is an interesting article by Australian journalist John Pilger. A look at how our governments collude and intimidate our media outlets, making sure the government line is being reported in wars.

Never has so much official energy been expended in ensuring journalists collude with the makers of rapacious wars which, say the media-friendly generals, are now "perpetual". In echoing the west's more verbose warlords, such as the waterboarding former US vice-president Dick Cheney, who predicated "50 years of war", they plan a state of permanent conflict wholly dependent on keeping at bay an enemy whose name they dare not speak: the public.

Pilger is always good value, and it's a shame the way compliant media go along with whatever's wanted!

All Wars, I repeat ALL WARS the US has engaged in is over Economics.

From the days of the Colonial Script to Afghanistan, MONEY is the Root and Cause of every conflict.

The Military Industrial Complex will even create a war, just to sell there products.

they couldn't go on if they were reported honestly. The psy-ops wouldn't exist since those are complete lies, and the real footage has to be censored because it is too gruesome. Well, not really but people think it is too gruesome so they don't show it, causing the gruesomeness to continue, so it's better to show the gruesome that already happened then to conceal it and cause more gruesomeness in the future. Gruesome.

It's all about swaying public opinion.

Because all news is propaganda just from different points of view, left, right, forward, backward and sideways...but most of all just plain crooked. Nobody just presents facts, nobody. It might effect their 'side' in some way down the road and they can't take that kind of political chance.
