Polish prisoner compensated for non-vegetarian meals

A Polish prisoner has been awarded 3,000 euros (£2,500) in compensation because he has not been provided with vegetarian meals.

Janusz Jakobski, who is serving eight years for rape, is a Buddhist and follows rules about not eating meat.

He appealed to the European Court of Human Rights after his requests for vegetarian meals were repeatedly refused.

Generally speaking you should get veggie meals if your a vegetarian. Or is having complete control over you by the government the only thing that matters in prison?

Should you be allowed to change your religious beliefs repeatedly for special treatment in prison?

I don’t know mate, to me its all BS plain and simple, polish workers are a new wave of occupier and invader in Europe since 2005.

Even if you are veggies you don’t die if you get meat for meal! Millions of peoples die of mal nutrition around the world the dude should be happy to get £ 2,500 don’t you think so..?? I mean in Poland it is a fortune to get that kind of money for free.
