I read YEARS ago that they planned on setting up space based satelites that would have the capability of examining a planets atmoshere.
It could find livable envoroments for us and also act as a diving rod to seek other life on earth type planets.
I think it was some sort of natural light filter type thing.. analizing the spectrum of the planet for chemicals based on the light it gives off.
So have they not been launched....
Or maybe they have and the data is being kept secret....
anyone know?
