because 'america' as in the powers that be dont want this info released.

they probably had the NSA of some government cyber unit crack it day 1. But why would they announce it?

Actually, I'm not sure if it's the password that's wrong however. The prompt I get is "Unable to open output file insurance.ae: Access is denied." and it shows as an AES Crypt error. I assume it's because the pass is wrong, but for all I know it's something else.

Could be fake or you need the key in that email to decipher the password.

I did not download the insurance file. Where can I download it? Wikileaks is up but there is nothing to see there. Where did all their files go?

That's what I thought... Surely then on day one they would have destroyed the contents of the file or altered it?
Maybe what most peole have downloaded is just trash anyway?

Are you 100% sure that is the correct sha1sum for the file ? From where did you get that checksum, i can't find it on the wikileaks site.
