Nice job. I appreciate what Assange is doing for everyone. He is playing a very dangerous role in this game. And anyone who thinks that the truth is important, should be thanking him for his service.

There should be accountability for every man and his government.

The truth will prevail!

S & F!

I have been silently watching this entire ordeal unfold and it seems that many are forgetting the significance that Wikileaks has had and could have on the truth movement in the present and near future.

Anyone who is against the exposure of the truth by such an organization is against the truth forthright. I think it is time we noticed the difference between those who claim to seek truth in the world, and those that are simply pretending in their ignorance. The divide is becoming quite clear with the issue.

Hopefully more people can see this and stop with the endless attacks on WL.

July 2009. Wikileaks Receives Amnesty International's News Media Award

Snip:
The governmental and corporate document leaking site, Wikileaks, has been awarded Amnesty International's New Media Award, for its role in the production of the revelatory document, "Kenya: The Cry of Blood - Report on Extra-Judicial Killings and Disappearances, Sep 2008". The attribution of this award is indicative of recognition of the work done by the site by bodies similarly concerned by the exposure of human rights abuses. Moreover, the accolade should function as an alert to the mainstream press to the exisitence of a penetrative and useful journalistic resource.

The report was based on evidence provided by Kenya National Commission on Human Rights, which suggested that more than 500 men were killed or made to disappear in a police campaign. As expressed by Wikileaks, this may have been 'with the connivance' of the Kenyan Government. The document is not publicly available in Kenya. On Friday, a UN special rapporteur investigating the events called for the resignation of the top Kenyan officials, emphasising the political significance of the evidence revealed in the report, and the utility of the online resource in global campaigns for social justice.

On December 17, in a prison cell in Quantico Virginia, Bradley Manning will be celebrating his 23rd birthday, alone. Former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee and ex-Pentagon official KT McFarland are calling for Manning’s execution, while Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is vowing “aggressive steps” will be taken against those responsible for the leaks. As WikiLeaks scrounges to find a way to keep their site alive after being shut out by PayPal, Amazon and EveryDNS, Manning is held in prison, unable to meet with his family and prevented from getting the vast majority of his mail.

By 2013 the animosity caused by assanges wilful leaking of sensitive government documents, had caused world wide conflict, not because one nation had walked over another, but because no one believed the others words any more - no truth was accepted, and nationalist hate was rife... by the end of WW3, 5.98 billion people lay dead... the rest, akin to vermin feasting on a carcass.. Wretched souls dead among the once living.

If you want to play games, play fair.. idiots.

Nice.

...Now just take out whatever personal hatred, cynicism, naivety and plain stupidity that you pored so dearly into that nice little "prediction", and you may find the future ain't so dim after all -- even with Wikileaks around.

It's amazing what a little intelligence, wisdom and just plain old common sense can do to brighten up tomorrow... you should try it sometime.
