is this a story being retold by one of his insiders or are there actual governement docs?

I find it odd that Greer has all this great info and the only way we can see it is to buy his videos and books.

Assange is giving it away. That's what someone who wants truth does. Not saying Assange doesn't have other motives but, Greer, he's looking for money.

Assange doesn't seem like he was all that interested in ufo information, rather showing the world how corrupt our nations are.

Of course, I wonder what's in the insurance file. Is he downplaying the role of ufo/visitor info and, perhaps, this flie contains proof of a global coverup.

Could it be that the most powerful of the world's elites are, in fact, not of this world and that they would be exposed?

Could it be that these forces will stop at nothing and/or trump up silly charges to prevent any disclosure?

However, I find it unlikely that documents of this nature were just "leaked". After all, Gary McKinnon had to do some hacking to get at that kid of information and the government want him to spend the rest of his life behind bars. He's painted as the most dangerous hacker of all time? Why? He didn't steal credit card numbers, he didn't take down financial institutions. He broke into government computers (rather easily) and looked up information. That's it.

Both McKinnon and Assange are merely messengers. The truth is going to come out and, for all of our sakes, it needs to be sooner rather than later.

No, because all 250.000+ cables have already been distributed, four major newspapers got the full batch before the release started.

Indeed, this point seems to have been missed. We've seen the best stuff, it's just going to get weaker and weaker from now on.

Incorrect. Less than 5% of the cables have so far been released.

It's only going to get juicier.

The reason they drip-feed the cables is to gain maximum media coverage. Debate the rights and wrongs of that all you like, personally I don't think they have much of a choice. If they were to dump all 250,000 of them at once, important information would get lost/swept under the carpet, the media coverage would last for 3 days until Angelina Jolie got a new haircut or whatever and it would all be soon forgotten. Drip-feeding means it stays in the news over a much longer period of time and the important information can be highlighted.

Also, even if Assange is killed/imprisoned, it won't mean the end of wikileaks. Assange is just the spokesman, the public face of wikileaks - there are others within the organisation working behind the scenes. If something were to happen to Assange, someone else would just step up in his place and the leaks would continue to be made public - not much would change. That's why IMO TPTB haven't already "offed" him and probably will not in the future - there is not much point and can only lead to bad publicity for them and more publicity for wikileaks. Imprisoning Assange would send out a warning to those prepared to follow him and may even act as a deterrent for some, but I guarantee there will be no shortage of people who would still be willing to step into Assange's shoes.

Personally, I think this will end with TPTB placing restrictions on internet-usage - I hope I'm wrong.

Also I doubt the insurance file or whatever has to do with UFO's. I think that kind of information (if it exists) would be so top secret that it would be almost un-leakable. Just IMO.

Food for thought, saw this quote today: "Is Wikileaks to journalism what Napster was to the music industry."

Here's hoping the UFO information does get released.

Documents.

There are quite a few like this in his first two books, "Extraterrestrial Contact" and "Disclosure".

It would be interesting to compare them against what the ATS Staff have

I'd be willing to bet that you have a lot of the same documents as Greer and don't even realize it....

I find it odd that Greer has all this great info and the only way we can see it is to buy his videos and books.

Yes, we all hate Greer for making us pay $30 to see the evidence! GRRRR!!!

Assange is giving it away. That's what someone who wants truth does. Not saying Assange doesn't have other motives but, Greer, he's looking for money.

Well, Assange and Wikileaks are willing to blatantly break the law and post top secret documents. But it seems like you are still hesitating to do so........

Wikileaks is not Julian Assange... Yes Julian founded the organisation and yes he is the chief editor... However Wikileaks is a collection of a few hundred journalists from all around the world.

No, I'm not. He's the face of the organization at the moment. Yes, there's more to wikileaks that Assange but you don't see anyone else in the crosshairs. This is because, by discrediting and destroying the face, or head, you kill the snake.

Yes I see the truth in that. Very astute!

However, don't you think the people that are more interested and have the ability to action upon are the various governments that clearly know the truth for what it is as it comes out??

The public may turn on wikileaks but I doubt wikileaks would dissolve under the weight of public opinion.

I have raised this question elsewhere today, but will say it again... The burning question is not just what is contained in the insurance file... it should primarily be, are the leaks sources still live?? As in is there more information being leaked continually or was the source a smash and grab security breach??

This is a very pertinent question because it places a potential life span on wikileaks as well as placing a difinitive cut off point of the information.

Whatever your view is on this, one thing is certain… Locking Julian Assange up will not stop the leaks from surfacing.

Korg.

Still the smart money would have been for him to disclose the most unbelieveable, where be it true and out the officialdom upfront, then go for meltdown. You must understand money contributions are going to him and can be tracked by intelligience services, the requirement for information on destababilzing funders is a necessary requirement of intelligience protocols to out subversive terrorist activities.these activities need to be tracked immediatly for some unknown reason and MR Assange is only a player in the field. There are deeper needs for this medium than probably people realize.Attracting willing participants is a necessity.Question is why intelligient services are going to such extremes,is there a immenent event about to occur !

Well if that's the case then I don't understand why you have never posted the documents you speak of, the ones that you feel constitute proof of - whatever.

Unless your lives were threatened or something

a dose of reality

If Julian Assange REALLY was
a threat, he would have been dead
long before he ever released gun camera
footage of the Apache. It's all staged
like a World Soap Opera.
And most are buying it on pay per view.

Not necessarily so.

If he takes the proper precautions and distributes backup copies of everything through a network of allies and all that, then killing him would serve no purpose other than making a martyr out of him.

Better to leave him alive but try to discredit him, with absurd rape charges etc

This item just posted on What Really Happened offers an interesting insight into the Israeli connection.
Money not necessarily mossad. Looks like they literally sold out and lost some internal supporters by doing so.
Sorry if someone else has posted but I cannot see it.

Once again, those that try and discredit WL make the claim that ALL of the cables have been released and there isn't much in the way of finger pointing at Israel. The fact is, only a small fraction of the cables have been released. We still don't know it all.

Why do the detractors keep claiming everything is out there when it's not? They then go on to use the claim as proof that the jig is up.

Rivero has been on the warpath to discredit WL. He links to anything and everything, then says, haha, told you so.

Assange is CIA or some other 3 letter word. Research his ties to Soros...

One of the earlier leaks made reference to a Swiss bank's wrongdoings, shortly after that, the bank goes under and suffers a hostile takeover, by none other than - Soros.

Assange is finding out what it's like to play around with the big boys. He's a patsy just like LHO and all the rest...

It's all total disinfo for the NWO to control (shutdown) our internetz

Shut down the Internet - HOW?

They'd pretty much have to blow up the whole planet to shut down the Internet.

And if they try, people will just come up with an alternative - Netsukuku

Claims such as this give me no hope, and I really don't see how this is the cyber "9/11" as some are claiming, when the only people that are in harms way are Government officials, and not Joe Public who the majority of which are in support of WikiLeaks.

Why is it that anyone that comes forward trying to bring truth to the masses is instantly lumped into the patsy camp, and how is any of what has been published so far beneficial to TPTB?

I don't get it... He's the messenger.. one of many. I doubt very much that the leaks will stop if he's incarcerated.

Don't forget.. he has already made plans for the files to be fully available upon his death or arrest.

So holding him will do little to release data now or in the near future.

I'm now under the impression he's working for the US or some other power. Everything he has released does nothing for the average Joe or Jane. It does not empower us or give us enough anger or frustration to rise up as a community to demand change or answers.

I think what it does do is allow hysteria and doubt about the government and anything anyone has to say.

We know all to well how lies are spoon fed to the populace who are eager to be bathed and pampered.

My concern is what is this taking us as a global people. Where will the breaking point be where we look around and ask ourselves how did we get here..

I can tell you exactly whats gonna happen with all of this believe me or not up to you.
All of the wiki leak backers hacking servers after server's pay pal amazon mastercard ect...and government sites for info...
They the hackers are doing exactly what our government wants them to do.
It is going to make our government place government laws on the internet in America.
conspiracy sites are on the top of the list they wanted gone btw.

Why else would all these hacker's be allowed to hack away at master card pay pal and our goverments pc's to steal files?
So they can in act new internet law's more strict ect...
its easy too add 1+1 and i got a feeling this wikileaks is the way to get it done..
heck for all i know maybe we let them have the info we gave them..so we could get the internet laws passed.

make my words that is exactly whats up here.

The way I think it will go is the legal system will put a gagging order on him...this will stop any information being disclosed while there are legal proceedings against him..anything comes out and he will be in "contempt"..this will be played for as long as they can until things blow over!!..

But another thing I was thinking about is ..there is a lot of S@@t that is being disclosed..and a it is all very damaging to governments...BUT..its the stuff we don't here about ..the wispers with contacts...because at the end of the day we all do it...voice an opinion disseminate information..yet there is information we don't disclose and if disclosed its only to the closest in our circle.....the stuff that has been released so far is pretty damning of how governments and diplomacy works...yet I feel the information so far disclosed is merely the tip of the iceberg!!
