Would You Castrate Sex Offenders?

with all the talk of quiet eugenics and social construction why not just sterilize all men the world over who get a vaccine of the sterilization after they do tasks like register for selective service or enlist in the military. there could be exceptions for "elites" as their gene pool for the last forever has always been about incest.

I would do it for most sex offenders and definitely for those who are repeat offenders.

My logic is rather simple if you sexually abuse someone you forfeit your right to be sexually capable.

I take the same view with murder, if you kill somebody you forfeit your right to live.

When it comes to more minor crimes i accept that my logic no longer applies but in general i think there should be a system of capital and corporal punishment and jail should mean forced labour camps.

Right, we should mutilate people's genitalia to teach them to respect people's genitalia just like we kill people who kill people to show people that killing people is wrong.

If in castration you are emphasizing the removal of testosterone production in the body and hopefully reduced aggression and sex drive...then I think chemical castration, if proven effective in the expected results, should be an option to being placed in gen pop. Molesters in gen pop don't last long. Prison has it's own caste system, and pedos are the lowest of the low. I think we should begin this research on convicted molesters (who have confessed, because there are some innocent men currently in hell, I'm sure)

Personally, I think Gary Plauche had the best solution. I was 12 when this happened, actually met the family, and, like the rest of Baton Rouge, considered him a hero. He hasn't paid for a meal in this town in 20 yrs.

It's really hard to say. How many times are people wrongfully accused and wrongfully judged. I'd really hate to be the guy that drives the candy van, who was honestly just a righteous Joe who enjoyed giving free candies to kids...Then getting the sausage treatment. :/

My question is this. If they are that bad to require state sponsored mayhem, a crime if committed by any individual, why can't we simply lock them up for life with no parole. Let them keep their junk. Should we cut the hand off a thief? Should we cut the eyes out of someone who views child porn? Should we cut the legs and arms off drunk drivers? Should we cut the arms off of murderers? Should we cut the ears and tongues off corrupt politicians to prevent them from lying?

If a guy goes into a park, picks up two kids and rapes them. He should have his balls removed, and he should be awake throughout the whole procedure. Then he should be forced to spend the rest of his days working in a hard labour camp building tidal defences or something like that, the only way for him to stop working is for him to die.

you ever ate oysters? It's interesting... you know that old saying that oysters make you want sex? One time I was eating oysters and opened one up and it was all greenish black inside...was full of gunk. I did a little research and found it was about to spawn. I noticed a change in how I felt but for me it wasn't positive. Actually I got a little depressed and aimless feeling and got a bad headache. I'm female though and my point is that I noticed a change.

I thought about the fact that these oysters are going through hormonal crap because they were about spawn and then I thought about the fact that oysters are supposed to make some people horny. I wondered if there was connection. Then I thought about all the hormones they put into livestock and I thought about society in general and the perversion that is rampant everywhere. Even if one is not breaking the law to pursue their lust, there are plenty of avenues in open society that is clearly acceptable sexually loaded content for most people to pursue. Sure there are some people who are downright deranged and need to be put away because they get off on hurting people... but as for society's raging libido, I have considered that we are quite possibly doing this to ourselves.

I quit eating meat a few years back but have again started eating fish. there were multiple reasons I did this and y emotions played a big role. I'm not saying that the food we eat is the one and only cause but it's just an example of things we do that we might be shooting ourselves in the foot with.

I have to say that I cannot understand some of the things that people do... mutilate people, kill babies... it's sickening, but a lot of lesser crimes are done because of the way society is in general I believe. Some will try to figure this out and address their issues, some will continue to stay in the same cycles and not even try... not even attempt to look around and look within. those people are fools but if we as a society don't look around and look within as well, even those of us who have never laid a hand on anyone, we are perhaps also fools.

What about the women who cry sexual child abuse in order to get a leg up in a divorce proceeding? Should the ex-husband be castrated because of a strong-arm legal tactic?

I do not believe our justice system should be trusted with any permanent punishment, including the death penalty, due to corruption and the "buying" of justice that is rampant in the system.

Life in prison protects our children and at least allows some sort of reversal in the event that one is later found to be innocent.

Sex Offenders should be chemically or otherwise castrated. The statistics indicating the majority of them are repeat offenders is overwhelming. The statistics indicating they cannot be cured is overwhelming. It's a mental illness which severely harms other people. We supposedly try to cure all illnesses in an effort to better the world for mankind. The cure for this horrifying disorder, when it occurs in men, is castration. As far as I know, there's no similar recourse for female sex offenders. So, I don't know what the answer to that one is. Perhaps, we'd have even fewer of those if they hadn't been molested by men as children, themselves.

With respect this thread is only asking if we the readers would castrate a sex offender. We are all bound to have different views on this and just because my view is different form yours does not make me right or wrong and the same goes for you. I have as much of a right to express my opinion on this as you do. If you disagree with me that’s fine but don’t make a crude comment like that, it’s really rather disgusting and says more about you than it does about me.

What would you do if you were on a medication that had a side effect of your needing to have a leak frequently, and you were travelling a freeway on which "rest areas" were few and far between? I've no doubt that members of Highway Patrols have had on occassion, pulled over for a pee they just couldn't hold until they got to a rest area. It shouldn't even be classed as "performing an indecent act", unless of course the guy is waving it at passing drivers. Think of the embarassment of the poor guy who upon going to court for comitting an indecent act, has his case thrown out for "lack of evidence"!

I would say hold it until you get to the next exit or plan ahead. If I'm taking a long trip I plan which stops to stop at so that doesn't happen I also reduce my liquid intake. Its indecent exposure since if you get caught its probably because your in the open at least find a forested area some distance from the view of the public. Its this way because flashers could use the "I was peeing" as an excuse. In most places there is a strike rule where they are lenient based on previous transgressions, and location.

I am amazed that you have never urinated behind a bush on a trip. It is a right of passage for Americans of both sexes. Thanks for responding. My point is that your brush strokes are too broad. You are lumping the truely evil with people who made a tiny mistake. They chemically castrate men already. They only do it to the worst offenders because unlike many here, they have morals. No, I will not explain right and wrong to your guys, your mother should have done that.

For repeat offenders and especially pedophiles, i say cut their wieners off but leave their nuts, then lock them up.

That way they have all the urges but no way to appease them.

Having raging testosterone but no wiener would be a nightmare, and after a few men were sentenced to this horror, i think many would chill out with their urges to fulfill their twisted fantasies.
