On the same day that information emerged about how US had used spying, threats and promises of money to influence the Climate Accord, Herman von Rompuy, the EU President, states that the Copenhagen talks were a disaster, and is expecting the Cancun talks to be a disaster too.

He also states that in Copenhagen EU was totally excluded, mistreated and snubbed by US and China during the climate talks, so much so that he implies that had he been EU President when he was in Copenhagen he would have resigned. He says it will take EU a long time to recover from this treatment.

This is how American officials treat Anericas 'friends' when is suits them....not surprisingly there are billions of dollars to be pocketed from decisions which would be made on climate change. One thing they are consistent about, greed for money trumps all other considerations.

Do not believe that for one moment.

It was pouring with snow, and obama was a picture going to a global warming conference in the snow, he must of felt like a complete dipstick getting of the plane and it was snowing.

Irony.

I do believe it, absolutely believe it. It is in the cable.

Don't you think Obama has been in snow before - you obviously don't follow the news.

It is a shame, these talks were important and you wonder why we dont get on together as earthlings. I am sure we could sort lots of our world problems out if it was not for this kind of behavoir.
What is sad is that some people are really trying to make a difference and this is how there work it treated..
It must be heart breaking sometimes..
