Israel is upset because it violates the Onso accords and the roadmap. I seem to remember Netanyahu disavowing the Onslo accords a long time ago. As far as the roadmap is concerned Israel has been in violation since the moment it was signed. The roadmap clearly states the Israel cannot build new settlements or expand old ones. 21 outposts were to be dismantled which never happened. Israel NEVER keeps agreements with the Palestinians unless it serves their purpose.

As far as I know all of them. Do you know of a specific agreement they signed and ignored like Israel?

After the signing of the agreements, Israel refrained from building new settlements. Although the Oslo agreements stipulated no such ban

However, Israel did continue to violate international law by expanding existing settlements, although at a pace that fell far short of the Shamir government's 1991-1992 level. Construction of Housing Units Before Oslo: 1991-1992 14,320 units. After Oslo: 1994-1995 3,850 units; 1996-1997 3,570 units

According to the Israeli government, the Israeli's trust in the accords was undermined by the fact that after the signing, the attacks against Israel intensified

As evidence, they showed that when violence flared up in September 1996, Palestinian police turned their guns on the Israelis in clashes which left 61 Palestinians and 15 Israeli soldiers dead.

Guns that we gave them.. Israeli M16s...

One of us must be misinformed... Are you sure there was a ban on expending settlements? Wiki doesn't mention it.

As for the roadmap- This is what stopped it:

After Bush left the region, the Palestinians launched a series of terror attacks against Israelis. This threatened to derail the road map plan. On June 5, 2003, the bodies of two Israelis were found near Hadassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem, beaten and stabbed to death. On June 8, 2003, Hamas leader Abdel Aziz al-Rantissi directed an attack that killed four Israeli soldiers at the Erez Checkpoint in the Gaza Strip. On June 10, 2003, Israeli helicopters fired missiles at a car in Gaza in a failed attempt to assassinate Rantissi; two Palestinians were killed. The next day, a Palestinian suicide bomber killed 17 passengers and bystanders on an Israeli bus. On June 15 Israeli forces entered Gaza killing a Palestinian,[6] In the following few days, Israel continued its targeting of Hamas leaders with new helicopter attacks.

And again, the question is which one of us is misinformed.

I expect both of you are misinformed.

But let's hope Wikileaks has the all the pertinent facts coming out of the area, so you can both see what is really going on, instead of blithely accepting the rhetoric and sound bites put out by the liars, as per usual.

You're telling 1 side of the story.

The Palestinians didn't launch rockets and stab people to death for no given reason. Would you kill someone for no reason? So obviously, there was a motive behind the hostility. People just don't attack people at random. You have it in your mind that Palestinians hate and despise Jews, vise versa. You're forgetting that prior to 1948, Palestinians and Jews lived next door to each other, they shared food, and they baby sat each others children. Those same Palestinians that were once great friends of the Jews, are now living as refugee's in the West Bank. WERE DID IT GO WRONG?

The Palestinians have the right to return to the land that is called 'Israel' (I like to refer to it as S. Levant, but whatever floats your boat). The Palestinians also have the right of movement in their own living area.
