Hollywood actor and legend who gained popularity with his portrayal of the Godfather, Don Corleone has died today at age 80. Brando starred in a wide variety of films, including a "Street Car Named Desire", "Apocalypse Now", "The Island of Dr. Moreau", "The Score" and others was a character both on and off screen. He is the owner of two Academy Awards and an Oscar for the "Godfather". He lead a very turmoiled life, with the public trial of his son Christian Brando and suicide of his daughter Cheyenne.

Brando Dies
Brando died at an undisclosed Los Angeles hospital Thursday, attorney David J. Seeley said Friday. The cause of death was being withheld, Seeley said, noting the actor "was a very private man."

my favorite Godfather quotes and scene from Brando:

"I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse."
Don Corleone to Johnny Fontane about Woltz

"You can act like a man! [slap] What's the matter with you?"
Don Corleone to Johnny Fontane

I will always remember Brando in the Godfather, definitely one of the best movies if not triology ever.

It's odd...yesterday or Wed. I saw a blurb on TV saying that Brando was monetarily broke. Then today, this. I immediately thought the worst.

I gotta get a better outlook on life.

He was a great actor, one of the very best method actors ever.
