Sooo...what ever happened to that Mosque outrage?

Remember back pre-election, when the country was having a collective meltdown about the "ground zero mosque"? Then elections happened and suddenly the news went into the ether about it...

What was the result...I assume since all news and outrage stopped, they fixed it perfectly...now..

here is the rules of the game:

If you were outraged by this before...do -not- do a google search to see what became of it...or any other search..if you find that offhand you don't know because you haven't thought much about it..then simply admit that you were programmed for outrage because the media and politicians told you to be..

it will probably be one of those internal hallelujah moments moreso than a public admittance that your rightous indignation was used as a simple tool by elitists and media.
Certainly I wouldn't expect anyone to admit as much
even though you are anonymous
and people would give you props for finally realizing what happened

and since we can assume they won't...to the people whom were saying all along this was little more than political fabrications to get a segment angry and voting for the right, knowing full well it would disappear after the elections...good call, gold star for you. feel free to gloat.

The furore served its purpose - the people bought into it - followed by TSA and now we are onto yet another media instigated furore of outrage - against WL.

It doesn't matter what the issue is, as long as the people are constantly being agitated, confused and brow beaten - and millions, literally millions - even an incredible number here on ATS - blindly obey.

Once it's not "news" anymore, people don't care anymore? People need to be told what to be agitated about? Not like we didn't see this coming. And what wc said, of course. As predicted, the community center will go up, and most of short-attention span America will never remember it happened. Crazy stuff.

Actually, people do care and are concerned about a lot of things, but they have no PR and so have no voice. The "news" media is the giver and taker away of voice. What they choose seems to be what matters at the moment, and what they focus on is just odd. This wasn't exactly a top priority, as with most of what they choose to focus on.

*The big internet virus (cant remember the name, but i think it was in '08)

*Terrorism (oops, that's a constant reminder)

People are only outraged by 'command'. When Bill O'Reilly and the 'people you can "trust'" tell the sheeple to be angry, the sheeple baaaaaaaaaaah. Other than that, the sheeple don't care; as long as they have their daily supply of grass and water!

What has happened?
The Sheeple are getting acclimated to being strip searched, eating genetically modified food, having "flu" injections,
getting their Constitutional and Civil Rights removed, and paying for it, all out of their pocket!
And the sheeple bleat: Bhaaah baaaah baaaaaaa.
