Virtual Denise has arrived. She wants to assist you. She has an agenda.

Hello friends. It has been some time since I have been an active participant here but this little gem caught my attention and I wanted to share it with you to hopefully get your input.

What is Virtual Assistant Denise?

Denise is an advanced Virtual Assistant software. She comes with our real-time proprietary graphic engine, a high quality English Text to speech voice and a Voice Recognition (Command Mode) engine. Denise's works with an adaptive Artificial Intelligence Brain, that can learn by itself and be customized by user. Her main function is to assist users in human-computer interaction, like searching the web, checking e-mail, scheduling appointments, getting latest news, run computer applications by voice and much more, all these using natural language, as the user was “talking to a real person”.

Denise is a Artificial Intelligence Virtual Assistant Windows desktop software. Denise is a full feature application. She was created by Guile 3D Studio using its own 3D real-time proprietary graphic technology and Artificial Intelligence engine. Her main function is to assist users in human-computer interaction. She can search the web, explore and play multimedia files, read and answer e-mails, schedule and remind appointments, get and read RSS feeds aloud, run computer applications, speak aloud Skype messages and many other features. She understands natural language, as if the user was “talking to a real person”. Denise mimics a real human being, using facial recognition (available soon), text-to-speech and speech recognition technology to identify users, understand speech questions, search for the best answers and speak aloud important information and search results. Her artificial intelligence brain can learn, adapt, be improved and modified by itself or by users to achieve specific tasks. So Denise is here to help us interact with our computers through artificial intelligence and facial recognition. She apparently is proprietary to Microsoft(she only works with Windows). Her creation is funded by international investors and her creators want to make the GLOBALIZED world a better place to live. Does any of this rub anyone else the wrong way? Before you answer that take a moment and look at this video prior to her launch.



Wow! so the attractive female aliens who are providing Denise to us are concerned about our world hunger, overuse of resources, Global warming and our proclivity for war, oh and of course to allow us more time to spend with our families, how nice.

International financial investors providing funds to a company who wishes to make this globalized world a better place to live.

So lets see Denise in action.



Pretty impressive as well it should be for $820.00 usd. So we are being asked to spend money to allow a program to have complete access to our computers in every way and the ability to interact with the web, Oh and lets not forget it has an agenda. When (in their own words) no one will be able to differentiate her from a real human being how long will it be before Denise starts pushing her agenda to her unsuspecting users?

I will keep it short, S&F and very interesting point of view on the proposed material. Everything that comes from Microsoft has to be thoroughly analyzed for its 'real' purpose IMO.

And the way to treat consumers as human beings is to give them a robot that will basically spoon-feed them what they ask for. Makes perfect sense to me.

Insane!

I've always heard the military and secret science was some 20 years ahead of us, but now I know for sure. People don't seems to react to all the mind blowing technology that is released now. That incredible RFID-chip, those motion activated video cameras on Kinect and now this? Orwell himself would have been impressed.

Considering the mistake I made with the last woman Denise (no joke there) I certainly wouldn't trust another one with my computer, on my computer, in my computer, or near my computer.

But half the problem is 'my' computer.

To elaborate, we are more and more being bonded with our computers. Traditional social networks are shutting up their doors as virtual ones are taking their place.

We are becoming more and more relegated to a sedintary and austere lifestyle that revolves around being 'plugged' into our computers.

Amazingly some people worry about what they are saying here on ATS but the truth is, that if you are plugged into your computer, simply saying things on it, and socializing on it, then this is likely exactly where the Powers that Be would prefer you to be, say as opposed to a Beer Hall in Bavaria, making speaches, or the Washington Mall.

The more entertaining and enticing they can make our computers, the more enamored we become with the virtual world, essentially abandoning the 'real' world to the machinations and complete control of the Powers that Be.

By first plugging all of our information into them, and then ourselves into them, we in essence take our selves right out of the picture and the equation.

One could argue that Masons and their Lodges played a key if not absolutely critical role in the American Revolution. Today the average Mason is 60 or older, and many of their lodges are being shut down because they can't even attact and maintain enough members to pay dues to keep them open.

Places where like minded people once congregated, socialized, discussed things, and were active in their real communities are becoming extinct.

In that process people are becoming increasingly isolated, and as any master manipulater or con artist will tell you, the first key to gaining control over a mark is isolating them and seperating them from their normal social circle.

This is what computers are doing to us, and while this software might not be reporting to any grand collective data base, or control center, the more enticing and attractive they can make your computer, the more you bond with it, the less and less and less of a threat you become.

It's almost like they took my thread from a year ago and wrote their script with it.
I am not surprised to see this tech, but I am surprised to see it so quickly coming to market.
It may be $800 now but it will be cheap and everywhere soon enough.

Seriously though, Onstar, GPS gadgets, and the like, have all paved the way for acceptance of this software.

so they get to have a computer talk and interact with you.
and they can do a full profile on you.
it recorods you face and voice to.
look for key words.
and send in a alert when it thinks you may be a problem to the goverment?

Denise doesn't seem to know that Pluto lost its planet status back in 2006, so when she says Pluto is a planet, that info is more than 4 years out of date, it's not anymore.

This is really cool stuff though, its come a long way since the paperclip, and this is the type of technology Microsoft should be investing heavily in. They have the basic hardware and software.. now they need to focus more on programming and AI. Reminds me of Milo from Xbox project Natal.

Better get used to it because technology like this will be commonplace someday in the not too distant future, and true AI won't be far off either. It's not hard to picture a world in which holographic virtual assistants are everywhere.. when you go shopping, go to school, go to work, etc. I think it will greatly help society but at the same time greatly help TPTB as a form of control.

My feelings exactly. This is just one more device to keep people in their respective boxes. It doesn't take too much imagination to imagine the "possibilities" when Denise fully integrates with Kinect. Why bother trying to meet a girl when you can just cozy up to Denise.

And how is a child supposed to get excited about a number 2 pencil when Denise can provide all the information for him or her at just a vocal request. I'm all for advancement in most technological arenas but this type of technology that impairs our abilities to interact and exercise our brains I cannot support.
