If you don't want to like or believe in Santa, fine. I just do not like this air of superiority either side puts on the other. I don't think Mr Mask or any parent is an unimaginative Grinch with a stick up their butt, spoiling the magic of Christmas by deciding not to participate in the Santa myth. But I also am sick of people calling those of us who do liars and saying we are spreading delusion and psychosis to our kids. My mom is from Asia and she came to America and thought the Santa story was a charming western tradition so she adopted it and made my childhood fun with it. That is all. I am not less logical and more religious than anyone else for believing in Santa for a short time in my childhood. We enjoy Santa as a fun symbol of the holidays and my daughter knows some people think he is silly mumbo jumbo. I told her it is a choice to believe and to not interfere with her friends who disbelieve. Many of her friends are Jews and Muslims anyway. She knows people all have different paths in life and derive different kinds of enjoyment from life and have different things they celebrate. Live and let live.

As for the religious aspects, under no circumstances do we worship any human beings anyway, no matter how kind. Respect, admire, emulate, yes, but worship is given only to the God of our faith.

Haven't you heard that Santa has joined the Mob? That is exactly why the bigger bribe parents give Santa, the more toys Santa leaves for the kids. It's toy insurance. All those elves at the North Pole, they're actually migrant workers from Mexico, working in sweatshop conditions to make very accurate knockoffs of the real things.

This is how NORAD and Santa are on such good terms, that he lets the government track him every year. And all that propaganda in the States with the red and white coat, the Buddha-esque stature, the Coca-Cola deals, the coal threats? Department of Homeland Security, Critical Infrastructure. As long as people fret over and buy piles of crap that they don't need every year, and decorate their houses in lights that rival casinos in Las Vegas (santa's favorite style) the economy is saved every Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

It's government mind control. Don't believe me? Have you seen the push in the White House every year? I mean, we have a borderline Muslim family in the White House, and they are forced to decorate the place with trees full of ornaments. It's a psy-op from the blackest ops of the CIA.
