(Possible Arson) Deadly fire in Mt Carmel, Israel, 42 already dead as fire fighters struggle to cont

This is interesting... Anyone else think this may have something to do with hanukkah, a jewish holiday that just started? Some sort of ritual burning perhaps? Coincidence that this is happening in Israel of all places?

According to the Talmud, olive oil was needed for the menorah in the Temple, which was required to burn throughout the night every night. But there was only enough oil to burn for one day, yet miraculously, it burned for eight days, the time needed to prepare a fresh supply of oil for the menorah. An eight day festival was declared by the Jewish sages to commemorate this miracle.

I wouldn't be surprised if this fire gets out of control and burns for 8 days.

Well there you go, the US is about 5000 miles away from Israel, what a long distance fire fighting call that is. This doesn't surprise me that the US has to put out Israel fires, but don't you think it's a little ridiculous to send a plane 5000 miles to put out a fire?

Aerial extinguishing efforts have been suspended for the night. Police Commissioner Dudi Cohen expressed hope that the fire will be contained by Saturday evening.

They stopped aerial efforts even though the fire is still raging? What's that all about?

Could they have possibly been started by one of these episodes??

They may have realized if someone started such a fire before launching missiles....the Phalanx, Arrow, Patriot, AEGIS, and THAAD missile defense system would have a hard time seeing thru the smoke.

Maybe they set the fire themselves...so when IRan launches.....they couldn't have done such to blind the missile defense system??

Incredible, but the hypocrisy doesn't surprise me if true.

There is always the possibility this is a distraction from the wikileaks cable exposing some of Israel's problems. Perhaps the fire is genuine (maybe even arson) it seems to be a big media story what with Israel's plea of help from neighboring countries (and US 5000 miles away). If they false flagged this that is just disgusting.
