I look at footage like this from our friends across the Pond, and wonder, would American politicians have the balls to take our freedoms so easily?

Seems like the traditional "vote" to give your stand, doesn't work anymore. 98% of the American people could vote against certain bills like Cap-N-Trade, or Obama care, and they'll still push it threw. I thought WE THE PEOPLE control our government, and if what we chose didn't work out, so be it. Maybe, future generation could perfect it by learning from our mistakes. But it seems like the Micro Minority (politicians) control US THE PEOPLE.
