I've been thinking 0 was Jeff for about a month now.

It seem's too obvious.

Why do i get this at the top of the page in that thread and not in others?

It's just the page getting messed up from the use of the <font> tag in the thread title. The quotes around the color messes up the decription tag. Take a look at the page source:

<meta name="Description" ?="Description" content="Conspiracy related discusion about <font color="#FF0000> . . . . . . . </font> in the Above Top Secret website discussion forum Secret Societies. I don't think those words will help.

Ok, I was looking at the page source of that thread, and what I thought I found, was '0.gif' However there is two '0.gif' one is 60x1 and the other is like 2x10.

I thought it was a hidden link, but couldn't find it. It's somewhere in the top banner. Don't think it's anything.

Following this thought, I use Netscape and on this page I right click and pick page info. This gives me 6 tabs from which to choose. I click on media and I am able to preview backgrounds and images. On this file:www.abovetopsecret.com... with these dimensions:Width: 2px, Height: 60px, A thin lineabout 1 1/2 inches high appears for a sec then disappears. Probably nothing but its the only one of three files of the same name that does it....

0.gif is just a 10x10 transparent gif used as a spacer to ensure proper alignment between elements in a page. HTML/CSS allows images to be sized to any dimensions. Most sites that use tables for layout have something similar.
