I hope you're aware the argument you just used can be used to suggest that Lady Gaga is a good musician, or that Avatar is a good movie.

Then again, you're a blind sheep. So I mean, what else can I expect than something stupid?

If it makes you feel better to personally insult me then I don't even know what to say to that. I guess common decency is dead. I guess we better get this back on track.

I don't have time to read through 15 pages right now, but I wanted to compliment the post and glad you made the connections.

I'm assuming your aware of the connections between Soros, ACORN, Chicago Carbon Exchange, Tides Foundation, Obama for many years, most openly Socialist or Communist Org's on the planet and most of Obama's appointee's. He is most certainly on a mission to eliminate the very system that made him so rich. He make no secret of it and what I've just mentioned is easily researched and verified. Nobody was hiding it as they no longer care who knows.

I have no doubt it's a team effort to bring our economy completely down. Obama, who I'm convinced answers directly to Soros who is also The Daily Koss and other things as well, is most certainly a part of everything happening. Watch for him to throw Hillary under the Bus at any moment. I'd expect her to resign after the Holidays with a made up excuse.

If it's a Progressive or Socialist group, Obama is linked directly along with Soros. So sad it's so hard to get his groupies to look this stuff up for themselves. I've lived through everything from Kennedy through now and Obama is the first President to place fear in my heart and Soros is indeed pulling his strings along with the entire Progressive movement.

SEIU is a major player as well. The Health Bill was written by SEIU under the control of Soros also. I will be cutting my Staff by one January 1 due to that and maybe by 2 if the tax cut is not extended by the end of next week. I thought I was immune but they got me. If they got to me in this wonderful economy here in Alaska where we are still in a Boom and real estate prices are still going up, people down south in the Progressive States must be eating Catfood. I am very lucky to be in Alaska where sanity still rules and we have no Income Tax or Sales Tax.

I was referring to this portion:

It would clean up this site a lot to not let people call blog posts from Glen Beck a 'source'.

I personally feel that we don't need to be censored as to what the "source" is.

Do you also personaly feel that if someone cites Alex Jones or David Icke as a source they should also never be questioned about their source?
Do you think all sources has the same credibility and should never be questioned?

Only criticism I have to the post would be it should include some sources to Glen Beck beeing untrusworthy, other than that it's on topic as long as the OP uses Glen Beck as a source.

I also agree that quoting Glen Beck on wikileaks is like quoting stormfront on antisemitism, I think we can agree there propably are less biased places to get your information on a topic.

And to the people who on a conspiracy site claims there are nothing of interest in the leaks...

This took me ten minutes of reading to find:

¶5. (C/NF) A number of Embassy contacts have described a political environment dominated by conspiracy theories. In the wake of the two court rulings, Berlusconi accused President of the Republic Napolitano of working against him and lashed out emotionally against the judicial system, in general. XXXXXXXXXXXX told the Ambassador that Berlusconi’s outburst had led to “frosty” relations with Napolitano and said the episode has made him appear weak. Several PdL officials have hinted darkly to us that “institutional forces” are trying to unseat Berlusconi. (Note: In Italian political parlance, “institutional forces” can serve to mean one of many groups operating and wielding influence behind the scenes: business groups, intelligence services, freemasons, the Vatican, the magistracy, the United States, etc. While Italians are notably conspiracy-minded, their paranoia -- at least as far as Italian domestic politics go -- has historically been well-founded. End note.)

(SOURCE)

"In Italian political parlance, “institutional forces” can serve to mean one of many groups operating and wielding influence behind the scenes: business groups, intelligence services, freemasons, the Vatican, the magistracy, the United States, etc."

Freemasons and the Vatican should be well known subjects to most on this site.....

And if you continue to read this report you find that Berlusconi acctually thinks his own secret service is out to get him.........

¶6. (C/NF) XXXXXXXXXXXX confided that Berlusconi believes the Italian intelligence services might have deliberately entrapped him in his alleged affair involving a minor. During XXXXXXXXXXXX’s conversation with the Embassy political officer, Berlusconi called XXXXXXXXXXXX to confide that an arrest was imminent of four Italian Carabinieri believed to be blackmailing the Lazio regional governor with a sex-tape. (Note: The story of the Lazio governor and a transsexual prostitute exploded in the press a few days later. End note.) XXXXXXXXXXXX told the Embassy officer that this case has convinced Berlusconi that he cannot trust his own intelligence services.

I don't know about you, but I think this kind of information would never be released to the public without wikileaks.

I'm gonna continue to read the leaks little by little and see for myself, even if there is nothing explosive there it is still an interesting look into the diplomatic world.

O.K. We are thinking on the same lines here, sorry been a long day. Thats kinda the point I was looking at, everyone likes to slam Glenn Beck but hardly anyone can factually back it up. The way I saw it was hey look a new poster attempting to spew nonsense. Apparently he had a legitimate gripe and I apologize, misunderstanding on my part I guess.

Yup, ignore the point. Focus on the insult, which is clearly just the truth, and ignore everything else.

And you're right, common decency is dead. People can just ignore what people say yet still reply to what they say, and act as if they are truly responding at all!

Ever think about running for public office? One of the key things you need is the ability to misdirect and deflect questioning and points made opposing you and hot damn, you are pretty good at that.

I thank you for continuing to ignore the point I made about your earlier comment. I'll just consider it you saying you don't actually have an argument to bring forth and that your assertion that people flagging and starring a flag is a measure of its quality was an incredibly stupid and fallacious thing to suggest.

He wrote the thread title to get attention, to get views. Like a news broadcast that sensationalizes something to get viewers. I notice that with a lot of people on ATS. they'll make a catchy headline like in a News paper. If you're giving the truth, there's no need to dramatize your thread. It only makes you look like a nut.

Its so sad how when people personally dislike some group/person/whatever, they are willing to accept any ludicrous story/theory as true, with no evidence, just cause it appeals to their dislike of that group/person/whatever.

This sad truth becomes even more evident when the only arguement the supporters of this stupid thread can provide are their beliefs wikileaks has an agenda or "Solos said the USA govts policies are bad for the world yadayada" (which so what? I agree with him, doesn't mean I'm trying to take over the world or blackmailing govts) and other such vague unrelated beliefs or things. Even if wiki has an unstated agenda that does not make any ridiculous theory you read about it being the NWO trying to take over the world true.
non sequitur

/facepalm mankind. Critical thinking, learn to discern.

You must know that a good many of the citizens reading your post are Utopian Liberals and the connection between Soros and Tides and SEIU and on and on is COMPLETELY lost on them. Most of them couldn't even tell you what political party Stalin was affiliated with.

But someday Wikileaks will provide all the links for them....and they still won't understand. How do you explain socialism/communism to socialists/communists? You don't. You point. You chuckle. You shake your head 'No way." And you thank the Man Up Above that you are not one of them.

But that's Democracy for you. These people have the inalienable right to reject everything that would be good for them.

Thus you have the conundrum of Wikileaks. 400,000 pages of information that everyone of any imort already knew. Handed to a citizenry who couldn't tell you what is in the 1200 pages of the ObamaCare bill.

That's not sad. That's just pathetic.

What's sad is that people follow the word of another solely based on his word and nothing more. No reasoning. No critical thinking. No discretion. They blindly follow, and repeat, what another says. That's what is sad.

If it wasn't for that, what you said wouldn't happen. But because of this, what you mentioned happens. This thread being made happens. People who say stupid things, and then ignore their past stupidity when someone calls them out on it happens.

Frankly, just about every problem with humanity can be summed up to this single problem. And the people who proliferate this lack of self-thought should be ashamed of themselves.

The ATS Thread Flagging System

Conquering The Web With Flags While this might seem like a simple ranking system, it's a major aspect of giving our members control over new and important pages on ATS. Before, during, and after the "Dark Matter" redesign, we engaged a lot of people for comments on the overall design, look-and-feel, and user experience of ATS. While we had a lot of positive comments on the new design, and forum layout on the board home page, we still have a significant problem for novice users, and users wanting to quickly gauge what's important on ATS -- the discussion board layout is designed for experienced users... not new users. So we've been tackling the problem of: 1) How to better present the ATS home page, forum groups, and forum thread lists. 2) How to do #1 without "editorial bias" in a way that reflects the membership 3) How to do #1 and #2 without time-consuming effort so it's always fresh The solution, Flags! Each member who flags a thread increases its overall importance as compared to threads with fewer flags. We're developing brand new "home" pages for these: 1) Site home 2) Forum groupings 3) Forum thread listings The new pages will provide a "short hand" version of what's hot, new, and important from all of ATS, down to individual forums. Your flags will have the most important influence on what is included in these new pages, and how the content is ordered and structured. For the first time, you our members, will have direct influence on what appears on the home page. (timeliness and thread post-count will also have an important factor)

Just kinda going by what I know of how the system is supposed to work??
There I replied to you stop throwing a fit and lets get back to the discussion at hand, whatever your smarter than me, there do you want a cookie now? Or can we move past this?

You said that because people flagged and starred this thread, it means the OP is right and that the people agreeing with him aren't as stupid as people are alleging they are.

What you just posted in no part or instance suggests that flagging means what the thread says is "right" or that you "agree" with it. It says, plain as day, that it's about importance. Now last time I checked, importance is not synonymous with right or agree. I flagged this thread and I have several dissenting opinions over what is being suggested. So what then?

Furthermore, this still ignores the point I made (you really suck at this reading thing, don't you?) earlier. I compared you suggesting what the OP says is right because of the number of people who flagged it to someone suggesting that Lady Gaga is a good musician because she's popular. This is a logical fallacy my friend. You're appealing to the masses, and fact is the masses tend to actually be wrong more often than right. It's an illogical assertion.

So uh, please. Next time, lets try reading. And if you find reading difficult, well....there's night school. Try that out. Because you've shown yourself seemingly unable to read twice in one post and that is not a good thing.

Feel free to ignore the bulk of what I said to focus on the insults by the way, I actually don't care. If you do, it just means anything you say shouldn't be taken legitimately anyways.

Wikileaks is not a CIA experiment or operative network. It is ran by Assange who was originally a hacker and started up a blog and eventually Wikileaks. In the beginning he had a small crew and some volunteers. He is our governments number one enemy.

Please, enough with this BS about him being a CIA operative. It's embarrassing to those who demand the truth on this site.
