To suspends armed conflicts temporarily...

Why not make an attempt to make December the month where any form of conflict would be suspended. A kind of international temporary pact, once agreed on the terms and signed, would help everyone sleep better. A month a year, is it too much to ask ? Even a week would be satisfying...

Temporary peace is better than nothing. I should add that we would have to make illegal weapons transportation and troop movements during this month, for those who agreed to these terms.

I know it's an idealistic proposition, but enough voices can make it real.

A reminder to those who have authority, fear is undoubtedly profitable but its effects make society more unstable, especially on the long term.

I disagree, I say, make suspending conflict mandatory year round.

Only then will I be happy with the current world situation.

EDIT: In all honesty, I would've though that if something like this was indeed possible, it would've been implemented by now, and it it was implemented then again, pushing for it year round would be the only realistic next step IMO.
