Family: New Jersey man serving 7 years for guns he owned legally.

Aitken and his supporters believe that he had a legal exemption to have the handguns in his car because he was moving from his parents' home to a residence in Hoboken.

"This case is the perfect storm of injustice," said Aitken's attorney, Evan Nappen, of Eatontown, Monmouth County, who specializes in gun laws.

The article does state that authorities found hollow point bullets, which are illegal, but from what I see was sentenced for carrying the guns in his car.....while moving.

Above and beyond, the story doesn't mention having a search warrant to search the vehicle. 4th Amendment anyone?

It seems like an act of injustice. Just one of many in America. Land of free(dom less by the day) and home of brave(less to stand up for our rights).
Stories like this really make me want to get a law degree and fight the cockroaches in government positions to end this atrocity.
