Ok sorry if ive done this wrong but ive never posted a link from something outside ATS before. It looks like the welsh assembly will be topping up university fees with £6000 for each student. This will apply to all students coming from the EU except For Ireland, England and Scotland, who are still in the same boat. I wonder how this will be recieved in Westminster.

Well i thought after all the fuss over the uk student protests last week, someone would have something to say.
Trouble is, most people dont even know where Wales is, never mind...

Jeez...I wish somebody hadda broke off a little for me when I was in college and grad school

I had to work three jobs and take two lousy classes a quarter just to get by.

the current halls of power will hope this will quietly peter out un-noticed. the inequality is astounding where scotland and wales get the funding whereas the government is looking at all english students as cash-cows.
the vote is tuesday i believe in the commons. it will be a decisive moment in politics to see who will vote for this.
coupled with the sinister push to adopt berlin time this government is increasingly fubar!
