Swimming is like jumping into another world.

In this watery world, you can move freely, dive and swim through space in all directions.

It is very hard to put into words the feeling of being in water and swimming.

I find it to be an almost spiritual experience, being able to move the body in all kinds of ways.

It feels liberating and refreshing. It makes the body happy and gets the endorphins going.

It makes you imagine what it would be like to be a sea creature, and spending your entire life in the waterworld. Do they wonder what it's like to be on land?

Swimming is also great exercise. Being able to swim in water is quite a gift. The ocean and a swimming pool are very different kinds of water, and I enjoy both. I like the feeling of salt water, but I also enjoy the stillness of a swimming pool.

Share your experiences with swimming, and how it affects you.

I love swimming, too! I have problems with my knees (having surgery in January) and swimming is the BEST thing for them! I love the freedom of movement. I can do anything in the water!
It's great exercise, too!

I agree with you on swimming, but my view comes from the love of scuba diving.

To me, scuba is like flying. According to physics, Air acts like a liquid, just at a different density.

So, scuba and swimming is more similar to flying.
