No, it's not true. The coffin was made using drilling techniques known at the time, and we can certainly do better today.

Further, there're saw marks on the coffin itself.

I have to put correction on this

1. Actually there is no evidence that the Egyptian's didn't build the pyramids.

2. The Egyptians before all the invasions were Nubian or African, so apparently since the world 'still' has not come to leave racism out of history, we've come up with some more 'excuses' as to why they weren't smart enough, or just could not have built the pyramids or without help.

3. All the so called evidence dealing with the Ancient civilizations of African, Mayan or Native cultures and what they did or built and the reasons for, are just speculation(I'll bet with a racist hint in there). I mean it's obvious.

4. It's amazing how good you become at a job when your life depends on it.

Of course it's not true.

The Egyptians carved the thing themselves. We can carve stone way better (and way cheaper, in fact, if you order in volume) than they ever could.
