ENOUGH!

The back and forth namecalling and off topic nonsense will stop.

This is not about each other, nor is it about opinions concerning other members validity or non validity of opinion.

Wikileaks is the topic under discussion here. That's how it will remain.

Your thought experiment is not related to what I am saying...what your saying is exactly the kind of stuff that should be exposed if it is out there.

I am talking about diplomatic chat sessions that the world needs not know about...the releasing info about the he said/she said simply to sew anger, racism, and indignation.

Expose crimes...great...expose backroom chat sessions and people insulting one another face to face or behind each others back...not great...stupid, and wreckless.

If you support this, then you should, by default, support someone releasing your personal phone conversations for the world to dissect and judge you on..
Private chit chat, positive or negative, is simply private chit chat...and should be not seen or heard..be it your a truck driver, or dictator.

If there is a point behind it...great..if it exposes some massive criminal element...then sure..but just the general yack sessions and smack talk in diplomacy...that needs to be removed before release.

I understand what you are getting at...However you don't seem to be understanding what I'm getting at.

Because people talk trash and get upset at words we need to conceal, hide, censor that information? That is ludicrous.

People all just need to grow up, throw on some thicker skin...But they can't because for all they know, our politicians are the "idol" for how you should act internationally, because their real behavior is concealed.

In other words, YOU gave him the star? Well, in that case, I stand by my sentiment, that you should lose your starring privys for... like an hour! Starring a troll should have consequences

Once again, taking your imaginings as fact. By the way, from the Guardian:

More than 3 million US government personnel and soldiers, many extremely junior, are cleared to have potential access to this material, even though the cables contain the identities of foreign informants, often sensitive contacts in dictatorial regimes. Some are marked "protect" or "strictly protect".

www.guardian.co.uk...

It looks as though the Guardian doesn't back up your extensive military experience.

Julian Assange has played this for all it's worth in his attempt to create a personality of intrigue surrounding himself because he wishes to be percieved as important. To the contrary, what he has managed to do is destroy the reputation of Wikileaks as well as himself touting information he plans to release in the face of those he got the information/docs from. For what reason? Who really knows. One thing is for certain - if he keeps on releasing classified sensitive or higher platformed information all the while placing those at risk who attempt to appease this scoundrel, he will one day either be killed, go missing or be hunted down by authoritys like the rat he has made himself into. Act like a spy, be treated like a spy. The agency lives for it and I do not think Assange has the stomach for that caliber of game.

Assange may end up a dead man if the wrong secret from the wrong country get released.

The really strange thing is after the first release that the US government did not pass a law making it a capital crime to release secret documents stolen from the US.

That way they at least could throw Assange into Gitmo till he was a old man waiting for trial.

If enough countries are hurt by this diplomatic release and Assange has a accident there may be so many countries suspected that no one will ever know who got rid of him.

Remember, only the exposure endangers lives. The reckless actions of government officials are completely safe.

I also wonder if maybe this is what Obama meant when he said their will be transparency in government..

This wikileaks release might be an Obama administration excercise in their transparency efforts?

The US Government collects iris imagery and DNA on pretty much all politicians. WTF?

We already have:

Killing for peace
Torturing for peace
Sexually molesting for peace
Defrauding for peace

And now we have - what's this - cloning for peace? Framing someone for peace?

My question is, did the respective Governments know this was happening. Is there collusion? Is this part of controlling the puppets of the NWO?

Yep, I mean HOW long can countries threaten each other, shoot missiles at each other, and try to prove that they are stronger than their enemies, without going to WAR? The way things are happening right now Sooner or later we all know WW3 can and will happen(hopefully not).

Yes, they need wars to keep transferring billions of dollars from the nation into the pockets of the military-industrialists. Any war will do, literally, but prefereably in a country where we can get control of some more oil and natural resources as well.

I just hope the release is as big as they say it is. Aren't you all sick of the lies and corruption, the behind closed doors clandestine decisions being made for your own good? How many of us had the same gut feeling that something was wrong with 911? How many believe we need to pay $3.00 a gallon for gas?
Honestly, who on this planet actually believes the US army is in Afghanistan to fight against the Taliban for the people of that war torn country?
We are all being victimized DAILY by some very evil and corrupt people. Perhaps when everyone gets on the same page the combined global moment of clarity and outrage will be enough to truly change the world for the better. I'm not a very religious guy but I am praying that moment comes today.

You know what I was thinking earlier today from the developments that was revealed I'm like man this is it??
Sure it's intriguing materials but not revolutionary like they said but none the less it is still early because not all the documents are realeased. Maybe these people wanted to release the specific docs to get a reaction out of everyone more less stir the pot see where this thing goes maybe that is why these leaks are coming slowly. It is smart in a sense. What reaction are they looking for?

Or maybe it is indeed fishy business?

I don't know, no one knows except the folks at the governments.

My 2 cents.

WIKILEAKS days are gonna be over and the governments are gonna get fed up with this stuff. So far it seems most of this stuff is common sense and nothing to major. But the government may think otherwise.

So the leaks are nothing new and the government is all up in arms about them. Connect the dots. Could they use this for internet control?

Did you read my thoughts at all? did the dumb dork that starred you read what I said? I am not discrediting Wikileaks at all. Im saying that something is up.. The scapegoat for information is an Army PFC. Noone without a rank of AT LEAST Major or ABOVE has access to all the information released, period. So, please point out where I discredit wikileaks. When you cant, I will accept your apology

That is not necessarily true, and being that the PFC was a systems analyst....well, that whole thing smacks of something much bigger. The military doesn't slam someone if they aren't guilty in some way. He may have been a spy or it could be that he's being charged with treason and he's just a disgruntled soldier.

Here's my point....a PFC doesn't just waltz into the military with the intent to steal millions of sensitive documents to make his country look bad. So, I'm thinking he had the intent prior to joining the Army, and his service was simply the cover for him. If he was arrested, you can bet your hind end he knew what he was doing and how to do it. It doesn't matter if he had access to the information.....he GOT access simply by being a systems analyst and a member of the military.

Now, I've mentioned before and I'll mention again...the military is under STRICT orders not to visit the wikileaks website, ESPECIALLY on government computers. Well, you can't do it on a government PC AT ALL, because it is blocked, but they'll know you tried! Why is this so? Glad you asked...because one theory floating around the military community is that wikileaks can phish once you visit their site. I believe this is how they got into the government mail and document storage system to begin with. Whether or not this is true, I don't know, but it is not only possible, but plausible that a simple PFC compromised the security of government computers. If this isn't the case, I'll ask how they were able to trace all this back to him to begin with. If a military member can sit at an internet cafe on base and click on a pornography website and have MP's come and arrest them 5 minutes later, you bet they know who is doing what on which computer, and where.

In this age, anything is possible, and it probably is.

im with the group that says something is fishy.im a u.s. citizen, and know bs when i see it,sure there might be some juicy tidbits, but seems like alot of hipe for nothing.either our government is totally incompetent or they are behind this.either way we have the power to do almost anything that the mind can imagine yet we cant stop a moron from releasing top secret documents, maybe this is a loyalty test.has anybody noticed that technology inprovements have slowed down, not alot of new toys .just fancier cell phones that work as leashes for the public.where are the flying saucers and jet packs.this modern day reminds of bored children fighting because theres nothing else to play.so lets start hurting each other.lets start a war and veiw it with awe.the new reality show to feed the publics appetite.yawn.perpetual war for resources?the rich getting richer.really?how much money does it take ,how many cars and big screen tvs and mcmansions?i know the human race has got to be smarter than this.u can only sleep with one person at a time ,live in one house,or drink one glass of water.yes human race there is a limit to what wealth can satisfy.after that, there is only being content.
