Many of us, myself included are angry, outraged, and in opposition to the new (November 2010) screening policies and procedures initiated by the TSA, an agency of the Department of Homeland Security.

What are we against? To have our rights, freedoms, liberties, and privacy taken away from us for [the crime of?] traveling. We are against having our chastity, our privacy, and the sanctity of our private areas being violated. We do not want our nude bodies or the nude bodies of our family, friends, and fellow citizens being captured on any device, being viewed by others, or having these images being saved and/or filed. We are against being touched or groped unnecessarily. We are against having the sexual areas of any free and innocent person being touched.

4th Amendment to the United States Constitution

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

We respectfully request that our Constitutional Rights be upheld and protected.

Benjamin Franklin... one of this country's founding fathers... a signee of both the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution... his portrait adorns the $100 Dollar bill for crying out loud! He wisely warned:

"They who would trade liberty for security soon have none and deserve neither."
- Benjamin Franklin

Why must we only complain about this issue? We, the people, have the right to help shape our world. So let's get to work with constructive solutions.

• Firstly, I will redraft the contents of this thread into a letter that I will be sending to the Senators, Representatives, and Governor of my state. I will also send a copy to the TSA.

• I propose removing the mandatory full body scanners and the overly-intrusive pat-down procedures. One crazy with a bomb in his underwear and another nutjob with a bomb in his shoe does not make every person in America a terrorist, nor does it warrant such drastic actions as stripping us of our rights and privacy.

• Metal detectors work wonders! Make metal detection mandatory for all passengers, we can live with that. Get the most sophisticated walk through metal detectors possible. I'm sure the cost will be equal or lower than those full body scanners. Also, those hand-held wands work pretty good at distinguishing weapons from surgery implants and jewelry. So now we just stopped anyone with a knife, gun, pipe bomb, or box cutter. I feel safer already

• Train and utilize massive amounts of Detection/Sniffer Dogs. All of those TSA agents getting off on frisking people can now have a specialized dog to play with instead! And if the cost is too high, I think Homeland Security can make it happen... I mean, every policy is in the "best intrest and security" for us.... right?
But the detection dogs are awesome! They can smell all categories of explosives and even firearms! Sniffer dogs can find any kind of drugs too. The dogs can even smell large amounts of DVDs and CDs used in bootlegging. Dogs can even smell for large amounts of cash currency, that would help crackdown on counterfeiting and laundering. These dogs are so great they can even smell for cancers and other diseases. Dogs are perfect sniffers, we bred them that way for hunting animals and even finding little mushrooms in the ground!

• Throw some funding into developing nanotech sensors. The Israelis are developing this technology, and are claiming better application and reliability than detection dogs. These sensors can pick up explosive material as well as chemical and biological weapons. And nanotech sensors are a fail-safe way to stay religiously neutral with those misinformed Muslims getting offended by dogs, so hurry up with the R&D (Research and Development.)

their prototype nanotechnology-based sensor can accurately spot and identify an alphabet soup of explosives, including PETN (the plastic explosive used in the FedEx bombing plot against Chicago synagogues last weekend), TNT, RDX, TATP, C4 and HMDX. It is also slated to be able to detect biological toxins such as anthrax, cholera or botulism.

• When the mandatory metal detectors and/or detection dogs give a positive signal, then we can talk about pat-downs and additional security measures. It's a bit overkill to just go DEFCON-1 on us just for walking into an airport.

• And to the Muslims that are offended by dogs: Come on brothers and sisters! Stop getting so caught up on superficial edict. Stop taking the ahadith (sayings and actions of Muhammad) so literal and out of context. You think dogs are so bad? People are allowed by Muhammad to have dogs for hunting and guarding. Airport security is "guarding!" If dogs were so bad Muhammad would not have allowed them for anything at all. The only thing contact with a dog does is break your wudu. "Wudu" is Islamic cleanliness and purity, which is needed for praying and reading Qur'an. Touching a dog breaks your wudu but so does farting! So does eating cooked food!! Take it easy and just go wash your hands and feet after the dog touches you, RELAX!!! Angels do not come to a building with dogs in it and you can't pray there? Then stop praying at the airport!!! Prophet Muhammad said that when you are traveling you can wait to pray when you reach your destination or a suitable place to pray... CHILL OUT!!! And the stuff about Muhammad saying to kill dogs.... what dogs did he say to kill? He said pure black dogs. Do you know why? Because jinn can shape shift into pure black dogs, so Prophet Muhammad was paranoid of pure black dogs. That is the meaning and wisdom of dogs and Islamic edict. Stop being so literal and making yourselves look crazy!!! You need to understand Islam before you go getting offended.

• To the TSA, Department of Homeland Security, and Government of the United States of America: How dare you label those in opposition to your full-body scanners and aggressive groping policies as "Domestic Extremists." Are you ok with TSA agents groping your daughters, sons, wives, mothers, and family? Are you ok with people with no accountability viewing and storing naked photos of of you and all your loved ones? In any other capacity this amounts to child molestation, child pornography, sexual assault, illegal voyeurism, and forceful nude exposure. We are not domestic extremists!!! Any freedom loving, sane person will have a problem with being molested and sexually assaulted. Just because the TSA agents work for the government it gives them clearance to sexually assault people? You, government agents are the extremists! Because of a handful of terrorists you go to extremes to violate us sexually, morally, and most of all constitutionally! Instead of finding practical solutions to any terror threats you went to extremes. You, Homeland Security, are the extremists. Please leave us alone and don't strip us of our Constitutional rights! I don't want to trade security for liberty or freedom!

Very nice well thought out alternative to the TSA madness, however I feel it is vain. Much like you wouldn't, couldn't convince Hitler of anything you won't, can't convince TSA either.

Here we are almost 10 years after 9-11 with no further "terror attacks" of that magnitude and STILL upping security. Seems like every month something new and more intrusive is being implemented in the name of safety, if this pattern persists and grows exponentially like it has been since 9-11, there will be the emergence of two things.

A) the true intentions and obvious police state will no longer be deniable and B) the true mettle and spine of the American people will be obvious. (either we will follow in line like sheep, or fight for our rights)

If we can't convince the TSA to listen, then we should go after their head at the Department of Homeland Security, or our Congressmen/women, and try to get a loud enough voice to the presidential level.

We can't just sit here with our tail between our legs waiting to see what policies come up next. We have to stand up and voice our opinions.

If they still won't listen after that then we do know "they" are buding a totalitarian, police state. If that happens, we as citizens can figure out what steps to take next. But as of right now, as of today... it's not too late.

Seems like the mentality is to let "them" takeover the country, then fight the NWO. You destroy a threat BEFORE it goes fully functional, not after. Everyone talking about how bad-ass they are to fight the NWO should be standing up today so we can prevent the whole thing in the first place! It starts by taking back our rights today!

I'm doing my part people. I'm voicing my outrage to all of my friends and family. I am boycotting their media, entertainment, I'm boycotting eating their poison, I'm voicing my opposition to my elected officials. Everyone sitting here online complaining and talking about what they will do to the NWO and Illuminati are not helping at all. Get out of cyberspace and actually make your voice heard to the government. If you let the country get taken over, it will be even harder to take it back. Start now or shut up.

A.) I did not present a worthy thread.

B.) The majority of people do not share my concerns, or feel the TSA's procedures are a big deal.

C.) Most of ATS now has the attention span of a 6 year old, gets distracted too easily, and only cares about an issue when it's the "new research/debate trend".

D.) People are more concerned with complaining and criticizing than actually doing something positive and constructive to make a difference.

Where are all of you patriots and human-right's lovers at now? I got creamed and insulted in my Which Country Is A Better Alternative Than The U.S.? thread, but now no one can back me up, help out, give suggestions or words of support? And I'm expected to stand up and fight for my rights? Alone?
