What date would actually be today without those calendar mistakes?

As others have said there is no real date.

But just for your info

In the Jewish calender it's Kislev 21, 5771*

In the Hijri calender it's 22 Thw al-Hijjah 1431 A.H.

Oh I almost forgot!

Happy Kislev the 21st day!

I hope Hallmark still has cards...

Thank you!

I'm quite excited that I've made it into the 58th century without even noticing.

Now where's my robot butler and anti grav boots?

Isn't it true that the current date is the 'correct' date (insofar a correct date exists) because we realized there were mistakes in our calender and we fixed them?

In other words: if we hadn't made those mistakes and made a properly functioning calender from the get-go, today would still be Nov 28 2010. If you're asking what the date would've been if we did make the mistakes we made, but then didn't fix them, I have no idea. But, since that date would be incorrect, why would we want to know?

And if there were only 10 months at 30 days apiece, that makes 300 days, where were the other 60?

I did not say that there were only 10 months. I was referring to how the names of the months correspond to numbers and listed the name of the month with its corresponding number. For example, December represents 10, we get the term decade etc., but, it is not the 10th month it is the 12th.
