Why? Because people on the other side of the planet are seeing your tech mania on a bit different way, people whose actually knows the other tech too? Sorry, this it the reality. Do you like it or not, that's not my problem.

Enough already!
Stop bickering amongst yourselves, and stick to the topic. Seriously, all this bickering doesn't make most of you look any more intelligent.
So, back on topic...any new developments on this?

So, how are those SA-2 surface to air missles? We certainly have come way off topic. Let's compromise and say each side doesn't know all the intimate details of the others military capabilities (nor does the public)

Sonar can't detect many things underwater, especially in different streams (And subhunter helis are using sonars on a string, like if they would fishing.). Finding a sub with sonar sounds easy and good in Hollywood movies and on computer games, but it's much more complex procedure to detect a submarine. It's a needle in a haystack if you don't know where to search. Just take up a question: how is it possible that sometimes submarines are colliding underwater? Because they're also blind and can't see many things.
Now I gotta go. It's 6am here. I hope nothing is going to happen while I'm sleeping.edit on 27-11-2010 by Sentinel412 because: (no reason given)

But thats it. thats the only advantage it has over the f15.
I also know that any U.S. Tech you may have seen up close or even sat in was the watered down export model because just like Russia even if the country we sell to is our ally today we still won't give them the top of the line model encase we have to fight them tomorrow.
you might actually want to talk to someone that knows how the current gen sonar actually works! And trust me its alot better than what hollywood shows in movies. and the reason that subs colide under water is not because they are blind but because they cannot stop on a dime. and Subs use passive sonar not active sonar as to not give away their position!
