Well, here we are not quite two years into the Obama presidency, and already things have changed quite a bit.

From bad to worse.

He wasn't exaggerating when he said the fundamentals of America would be changed. Take a look around at the developing police state, the nationalization of private corporations, the seizure of websites, and the slow clickity click of the wheels of incremental totalitarianism and tell me what you see. From the TSA's bulldozing of the Fourth Amendment to Northcom's domestic military mission and RFID chips in your passport and "enhanced" driver's license. And if you dare to speak up, well that's just too bad. Because now you're a subversive domestic terrorist.

This is what your country looks like now.

Take a look.

Take a really good look.

Who would have thought this surrealistic nightmare we were repeatedly warned about would be allowed to flower and grow? Encouraged to flourish. And they said it couldn't happen here. Well, it's happening here. Right now. And we're allowing it to continue. Where will it end? When will it end. I think we're past the point of no return. Bradbury had it so right in Fahrenheit 451. Anyone remember that? If you don't, I suggest you pick it up before you can't anymore.

Welcome to the "American Nightmare".

Brought to you by Nazi fascist globalists and the end of liberty by the wolves of tyranny. This is the end of America. Freedom is worth fighting for... the question is... where is America's will to fight the good fight?

Oh right, TV and video game Zombies. Numbed by senseless entertainment devoid of the real goings on and issues. ATS members not included

Where is your permit to access Time Square citizen? You need a U.S NY City travel pass sector 1F20-2AZ to enter this area. Please stand in this booth while we process your intent and scan you with X-Rays. Failure to comply means you must board the Red Fema Bus.

We have detected that you have a pair of scissors in your school bag, you are not permitted to enter this public office with any sharp objects. Your scissors will be confiscated, you will be fined $1500.00 and must spend 2 months in our citizen rehabilitation program. Now caugh!

This list of absurdity will be the new reality at the rate this is all going.

I think this is the inevitable conclusion for a country that has turned it's back on God.

The country looks much the same as it has been for years. In 2001 we had the patriot act, increased measures in security, today we have the TSA and the Patriot act has been renewed. Economy wise? The economy is in the tank but corporations are still free and posting record profits. Last month the market recorded what? 1.6 trillion in profit? So much for a socialist nation, this country is far more capitalist than the country I know of in 90's.

And anything else? Well we now have a mandate for healthcare insurance and while insurance companies are held accountable over refusing accountable, this healthcare bill is not a solution at all.

Well withdrawal from Iraq is coming soon.... we're still stuck in Afghanistan, we're still spending billions on the military industrial complex, still sending billions to Israel.

Yep.

You're right. Bush started it, and now Obama is going to finish it.

This is why I don't vote. Never have. Never will. It's all a big racket. The country isn't run by the "government" anymore. (was it ever?)

Corporations (and Banksters) are not the opposite of Socialism/Communism/Progressivism/US Liberalism. Heck while Paul Warberg came from Germany to give us the Federal Reserve Act and Chair the Federal Reserve, his brother was busy funding Lenin and the revolution!

MOST AMERICANS have grown up under the erroneous assumption that capitalism and communism are polar opposites, because the former system provides for private ownership of property, whereas the latter does not...

The cabal which runs today's capitalist system is a continuation of the same cabal which ran the early USSR. In fact, many of the capitalists exercising ultimate economic control in Russia today and funding section 527 political groups in the United States today were tightly connected with the communist and underground criminal apparatus during communism. The fact that the original funding for the Bolshevik revolution was provided by bankers in the United States should speak volumes about the true nature of what is going on; and the fact that Capitalists and Communists are actually allies rather than foes. When the New York bankers funded the Bolshevik revolution, they were making an investment - but it was not an investment in purely economic terms. Rather, like all banking investments ultimately turn out, it was an investment in the control of human beings.

Under capitalism, most significant individual property - such as real estate - is purchased through loans which, if unpaid, serve to relieve the borrower of ownership of the property without even a court proceeding...

Even if the property is owned outright, it can be seized by just about any lawyer....

Of course, no insurance protects property against government seizure. The IRS seizes 10,000 homes a year; and civil property forfeiture - where the owner of the property need not even be charged with a crime - is used some 3,600 times a day in America to seize everything from cash to cars to real estate.

In practice, then, ownership is illusory since there are a bunch of government agencies, insurance agencies, and mortgage contracts that tell people what they can or can't do with their property;...

Capitalism, in effect, has very little to do with ownership of private property by ordinary people; and everything to do with their enslavement by an elite. A closer look at the finances involved in the preceeding hypothetical house reveals quite a lot....

These examples, again, show no difference between Capitalism and Bolshevism in that, in the end, both systems have the same effects and therefore only differ in methodology. www.wvwnews.net...

A very good explanation and well worth reading.

Remember:

"Control oil and you control nations; control food and you control the people; control money and you control the world." ~ Henry Kissinger

The Federal Reserve Act was #1
The bill S 510 is #2
and Cap and Trade is #3.

Any bets S-510 gets passed this coming week and Cap and trade gets passed before the lame duck session is over?

And before Bush, Clinton got us into the World Trade Organization and repealed the Glass-Stedman act. The ReBooblicans AND the DemiRats are BOTH bought and paid for by the Corporate/Banking elite.

Technology is the only difference between us and the serfs of the middle ages. The Aristos sucked 40% of the wealth from the serfs then. Now the Banksters suck 60 to 90% of our wealth from us. With 56 taxes on a loaf of bread and the inflation tax who can really tell? And of course that is just the point.

Speaking of controlling the past.... How about this little tidbit:

“... Over the last quarter-century, historians have by and large ceased writing about the role of ruling elites in the country's evolution. Or if they have taken up the subject, they have done so to argue against its salience for grasping the essentials of American political history. Yet there is something peculiar about this recent intellectual aversion, even if we accept as true the beliefs that democracy, social mobility, and economic dynamism have long inhibited the congealing of a ruling stratum. This aversion has coincided, after all, with one of the largest and fastest-growing disparities in the division of income and wealth in American history....Neglecting the powerful had not been characteristic of historical work before World War II. ” hnn.us...

The Wake Up Call...Shattering Denial
______beforeitsnews/story/32/106/The_Wake_Up_Call...Shattering_Denial.html

"You may be thinking, if it’s not patriotic why would it be a law and why would they call it the Patriot Act? It’s a frightening thought, but the government commonly says a law is one thing when it’s really something else. It makes us feel safe and good, meanwhile it’s never defined in plain English. This allows them to use the law selectively..."

Is it not amazing to see how far we as citizens have allowed ourselves to slip?

The people of this country were once willing to die for our freedoms, then willing to die for the freedom of others. And now, in slightly more than a single generation we only seem to be concerned with who we might have offended.

Please people, read this if you have not( it is a quick read). 8 steps to destroy America. www.rense.com...
