This thread made me laugh.

I know a fried in kiwi land who farms Asparagus...

Likes to think of himself as abit of an angler (actualy he works with Billy Hohepa on his TV fishing show.)...

Anyway Stu bought hisself a fishing boat and named it "superhero", so some of his "friends" arranged a lycra suit in green, with a large "A" on the chest....for you guessed it "Captain Aparagus!"... LOL

He wears it at the helm with much pride!

Trust me when i say that it is NOT a pretty sight - the expression "what has been seen cannot be unseen" springs to mind!.

The world is full of superhero's, but thanks be to God thatthere is ONLY one Captain Asparagus (from Matta matta, a town so important they named it twice according to Stu!) and little known home of some hobbits of movies fame.

Theres just something about them Kiwis - they don't take anything too seriously - even themselves!
