Palin and her entire clan of half breed morons needs to go away as they are what continuously remains as a fundamental problem with this nation.

She was sold on nothing but sex and eye candy with no real platform to stand on. The entire GOP thinks the populous is so dumb and stupid that they are convinced that we all think with the "little head" instead of the "big head". Since when did if you wanted to go to bed with the candidate dictate solely the persons proficiency and competency?

The record is quite clear, she abandoned Juneau when she was being brough up on ethics charges from at least 6 different avenues and was forced out. Why would the future and "Great White Hope" be levied on someone who was forced to resign for if she did nothing wrong? The fact she resigned tells me unequivocally and universally that she is corrpupt to the core and remains corrupt.

Heck, Fmr NJ Gov. Jim Florio or even James McGreevey is way more qualified then her.

Imagine what today a "McCain-Palin White House" would look like? Increasing divide between the rich and poor, a total circus when it comes to the stock market, a unemployment rate well beyond 10 or even 11%, 20 million children dropped from their healthcare because they caught the autumn flu, an armed nuclear campaign with both North Korea and Iran, more then likely another successful terrorists attack by now.

Now, in the unlikely event that she does announce her candidacy, make sure she does not pass the Superdelegate confrence (slated to conviene around this time next year) because a vote for her is a vote against America and all she stands for. A vote for her is a vote against the Constitution.

Media and the people are worshiping her like if she's the second coming or something, that is the very thing that every aingle holy text warns us about, "You shall not make for yourself an idol" as stated in the 2nd Commndment about placing false idols above or equal with the Lord.

Why won't the media tell her exactly where to shove it?

We will see our first female President in our lifetime (by 2030 - 2040) but it will not be Palin, Hillary, Bachman but if she does good and works for us it will be Kirsten Gillenbrand.

No, I would not want Sarah Palin as my president. I don't want Obama either. Neither are qualified and both are inept. I would not want Newt or Romney or Mike Huckabee either. Nor would I want Hillary. Frankly, I don't see anyone in the field that I would want to see as POTUS.

Pretty slim pickings.

I'm pretty sure Sarah Palin would loose a debate with a jellyfish or a stick, so I don't know what to say if she has to debate Healthcare or Economics with a real person. She might find those "big" words too difficult to process.

Personally, I hope she gets the Republican nomination.

Course, I'm a Democrat.

Only because the lame stream media clearly has a jellyfish and stick agenda...

I think base on sphere of influence and already having Obama in power that Opera Winfrey would be a likely candidate for a female president if she ran, based on her popularity alone. Not that I would wish for that but I could see that as having more plausibility then Palin as a female successor in the White House.

Tell me about it... I don't even want to go there with the lamestream. At least we still have the Internet and can research our own angle of the news rather then be spoonfed stupid.

I don't think Sarah Palin deserves all this flak.
She is extremely busy trying to balance her politcal career
and raising a family. (LEAVE BRITNEY ALONNNE!)
Give her a break.
And despite having a ridiculous accent she IS college educated.
So maybe she isn't the perfect candidate, and so what if she messes up a dialogue or two,
have you ever said something stupid without meaning to?

Now with that said, do I want her as president? NO WAY!
But I didn't want Obama as president either...in fact I despise Obama!!!
AND EVERYTHING he stands for, but still, I don't go around making hate threads against him.
Why? Because he's our President, and even more,
he's a human being. Have some respect people.

Women -hate- Sarah..they are absolutely offended at her existance..not because she is a nice piece of a00...not because she is a republican, but because she is a complete trashy moron that may represent what women in the white house will be like.

the polls show that she fails miserably in the women demographic for independent voters...it is like saying "How about for the first person to ever represent your gender as POTUS...we put in a porn star...that represents everything you chicks are...right?

mhmm...ya...won't happen, shouldn't happen, and if it happens...expect every single woman with a ounce of dignity to grab a pitchfork and oust her by force.

You really have a point. Its not totally my reasoning, but my mother in law was appalled by her behavior being "bimbo-ish" and it seems to be at least a factor in many of my friends' opinion. She is pretty... I think so too and no one with eyes can deny it.. but she is also kind of trailer-trashy.. stereotypically. Like I posted before.. her complete 180 in mannerism and behavior when she wsant running w/ McCain in the public eye versus how I saw her on film from several years ago is frightening. She went from a woman with a little class to the stereotype of a cutsie trailer trashy down home joe six pack lovin workin class commoner.. and I find it offensive she behaved like this as if this is her opinion of what the majority of Americans are like. I almost gouged my own eyes out during one of her debates because it was SOOO glaringly obvious she was coached on how she could reach what some moron thought was the common or typical AMerican. I guess youd have to see the old youtube vids of her in her earlier career to see the amazing chameleon like change.. and I dont trust a faker.

That would probably be even scarier than Palin. I still think Oprah is a closet Scientologist.

Anyway, I agree I think any woman with a brain would not want Palin to be the first female president. That being said, around where I live all the women seem to love Palin, which scares me. But then where I live everyone is Republican. If more Republicans could keep their religious agenda out of the politics I might actually like some of them, but there always comes that point where something or another that they have up their sleeves scares me. But then it's the same with the Democrats, especially with Chicago style politics going on, most of the time. But the Democrats always end up feeling like the lesser of the two evils. And both are inevitably corrupt. I dislike the idea of a two party government, but when everything is guided and financed by lobbyists and special interests, what is a person to do? I don't want our government to keep being a cluster*uck, but at the same time I don't want anyone to set us back fifty years either. There's no right answer. There is no one worth checking on our ballots most of the time. We aren't organized enough to efficiently write anyone in. It begins to seem impossibly out of our control.

I agree, that's why I wouldn't wish for it but I know if it was Palin vs. Oprah in a race to the White house Oprah would win.

I just think she is vastly more popular hence the public support would be greater. I can't really think of any other woman that has enough public view that could make the run other then Hillary at the moment.

lol the fact that you have faith in any side shows how lost the American public is. Obama is a bad president so was bush. while i lean more towards republican i have had enough of their lies and the dems lol show too much sorry for being american for my taste. we need to stop shipping our jobs to both china and India and close the border. Then stop any trade with any communist country. Also make a rule that only American citizens are able to buy property that way we don't get bought out of our land

Im pretty confident that any person who ran for the presidency who campaigned on these promises would win in a landslide.
Promise to give the American people what they want and give us our 'rights' back...thats all we want.

If I may insert an opinion?

I think all this pushing for Palin crap is because TPTB don't want Ron Paul to get in there and pick-up where JFK left-off...

Ron Paul 2012!!!

No, Sarah Palin is a total new world order puppet just like Obama and Bush. She and Kissinger have expressed their LOVE for each other and as you know Kissinger is one of most evil men on the planet and one of the main architects of the new world order. Palin has already shown that Israel can do no wrong and that she would support them no matter WHAT they do which is a very dangerous attitude to have. She even bragged that in Alaska she had a big Israeli flag in her office! LOL Sorry, but we don't need another Israeli puppet in there.

Sarah Palin has never once said she would abolish the Federal Reserve and get us out of the bogus war of Iraq and Afghanistan that are against God. Only Ron Paul has said these things and that's why we should all pray that he will run one more time with Jesse Ventura as Vice President!

PS - Jesse's show Conspiracy Theory is on for 3 hours tonight on TruTV!

I doubt that. Oprah has the same problem as Palin. When asked questions without a script to read from, she is just as adept as Palin in putting her foot in her mouth.

This would be a disaster for Oprah, her audience is fickle. They would vanish in a heartbeat if she was allowed to speak publicly.

I'll tell you what we think outside of the US...

It is scary that a person DUMBER than W. Bush can even have a chance at being President of the US...

Not only because she demonstrates a complete lack of the basic knowledge to teach high school (let alone dictate policy or carry out meaningful conversations and negotiations with other world leaders...), but also because she would be one with the nuclear CODES within her grasp, and the authority to approve, push, and be manipulated into fiscal and monetary policy...

Too frightening a scenario to even consider seriously...

I had to look again to make sure this was ATS.

Long ago, just like Marilyn Monroe's directors use to say, her (Marilyn's) best acting was on the cutting room floor. Her audience (as the directors thought) only wanted to see her "attributes".

Doesn't everyone realize the Sarah Palin we see is the Sarah Palin the mainstream media wants us to see?
Just like the president we have, was bought, paid for and elected by the mainstream media.

You critics are laughable.

Ohh,

sadly over many many years of watching politics, and this country lose more and more freedoms, my opinion is
she can't be any worse than anyone else who has ever been, or ever will be president.

They are basically all controlled in what they end up doing, but not by the people for the people, as it is supposed to be. Well, I guess that depends on which people we are talking about, the elite people, or the rest of us lowlifes who think we have a choice in anything political.

Brainwashed we be in believing we have a choice in anything, other than perhaps our local small elections.

Harm None
Peace

Have a nice day!

YES!!!

She's be better than Obama. He has done nothing but F things up... gives millions to car companies, THEN does the "Cash fo Clunkers" -- whcih the car Companies made $$$ on... Why ot do that first? "Cash for Clunkers", then if they still needed help, do the rest? -- Obama is Backwards Thinking.

He will serve only 1 term.

Everyone Hates him.
