Bunny-crushing videos stir Chinese online anger

I'm from one of those country that killing all kind of animals in "cruel" ways imaginable, but I still feel disgusted by just seeing the picture. We kill/ hunt for food not for sport or amusement....thats just fk up, guys. Back in the day, I used to kill duck and chicken in a kinda harsh way, ya know. Slit its (duck) throat....hold it there....get its blood..put in some spices and we have a drinking's snack (yummy)....I know I know....it's disgusting and all....but I was born and raised in Southeast Asia Pacific, so it seem normal to me....No it is not China, or Japan, or Korea.

Here's a-kind-of-messed-up-story, back in when I was 5 or 6 years old, I had a cricket as my pet, love it, though it bit me several times i still didn't hurt it. One day, while I was playing with it, a chicken jump out of nowhere and eat it......damn, I was so f-ing furious, took a kitchen knife, stab the chicken twice , it went down in about 10 sec or so....run to my dad ask him to open that chicken up to rescue my dear cricket in its stomach.

I guess I'm the only Asian here today that have knowledge about these kind of things, so if you folks interested to know more, just go ahead and ask me.
I know how to kill duck and chicken....I've witnessed killing of dog, goat, cow, pig....yeah, thats about it.

Ok, as of July 21, 2010 H R 5566 passed the US House of Representatives in a 416-3 vote to ban crush video’s. Anyone that creates, owns, or sells such video’s will be punished with fines and up to 5 years in jail. The outlawed video’s would include any “in which one or more living animals is intentionally crushed, burned, drowned, suffocated, or impaled” in a way that would violate animal cruelty statutes

People like you never change anything because you love to put everything in the "gray area" right. The fact is you need to be black or white on some things to force change, or why would anyone bother ?

China still does the following...

(1) Skin animals alive

(2) Use live cats as shark bait.

(3) Use live caged bears for bile production.

(4) Is the world leader in body parts for endangered species. Their "traditional medicine" old wives tales are killing off dozens of species.

(5) Have lion parks where they are feed live cows for the pleasure of the buses full of CHINESE.

Some cultures have a dark side, and the Chinese culture has one massive one when it comes to the treatment of animals. I am proud to come from a country that at least polices animal cruelty. So I have a right to be disgusted and judge them.

I pretty much told people not to watch if they are a sensitive little puppy. Having people actually see what happens is much better than hearing about it, because you actually see it happen. So you are not swayed by other peoples descriptions, but by the video itself.

None of you can do anything about it.

Sitting in front of your computer and bitching on a conspiracy forum won't stop animal cruelty. Man up and accept it or don't watch the video and leave the thread. Messed up people are found everywhere, not just in China.

You should see what i do to baby lambs just so they can go to your dinner table.

Pretty much every single thing you do, eat or drink involves the destruction of another living entity. Whether on the level of animals killed for food, small insects crushed underfoot or microbes and enzymes used to create chemical changes in your food or killed off in their millions by anti-bacterial wipes. Death is the only certainty where life exists.

The human race as a whole is neutral. It has good, bad and indifferent people.

Absolutely correct! When I hunted in SA we were encouraged to take a neck / head shot if possible. As you said, the adrenaline makes the muscles stiffen up, and you may as well eat rubber instead of meat. Unless they are thinking of this as a pre-tenderizing strategy? Who the hell knows anymore
