Both parties are responsible not just the men, if she values her life, she'll check.

I think its highly bias to claim only men are to blame.

honestly; much true thought is neglected in science. sex as an act is akin to magic; if i sex a person and they are under my "spell" they are at the mercy of my state: if they "catch" a disease because of my state, are they responsible for being a willing participant in sex or am i held accountable for my state?

if only women knew how many guys arent too fussy what gender they sleep with.....

i have worked as a phone sex girl for about a decade and take it from me girls - there are many levels of bi sexual and the most common is the 'in denial' type

if you are a girl and you are getting s lot of minor infections always suspect that your man might be having a clandestine liaison in a public toilet that he is in such deep denial about that he does not remember that he has done the deed and had the male to male sex and yes totally without a condom

the denial is so deep that the guy blocks it out from his memory so much that even the deepest hypnotherapy will likely never ever find it

yeah - most HIV/AIDS spread to wmen is form the heterosexual boyfriend/husband

you have to blame porn too

at one time anal intercourse was relatively rare and a woman could go an entire lifetime and not have to have anal intercourse with her man

these days because the only thing that sells in porn is something that pushes the bounds, the dvd's about anal intercourse are being pushed to men

now most of us girls dont do our kegel exercises as much as we should and the anus is tighter and some men who have a clandestine pull to homosexual encounters will be over fascinated by anal intercourse porn

I have done phone sex for about a decade and it is changing - these days most callers want anal and worse still - they want to go from anal to oral or vaginal without any wiping or cleaning

this means that there is quite a bit of that going on out there in the community and you can bet the most likely women who have to take it are the ones in poor nations and social arrangements that make a woman a man's property

guys - what they do on porn should not be done in real life - please wake up

i have heard of a porn actress offered good money to have an anal gang bang for a movie. no indication on the movie that she spent the next 6 weeks in hospital recouperating from some serious internal injuries

There are in fact still people who believe that HIV/Aids spread to humans because Africans had sex with monkeys!
Such racist concepts a few decades back certainly caused a great deal of denialism and skepticism amongst Africans, who considered AIDS a racist Western conspiracy to stop them from procreating.
Sex with monkeys is most likely a physical impossibility, and the official theories rather argue that the virus was spread via repeated contact with blood from butchering bush-meat.
Considering how many viruses come from the meat industry or life-stock (virtually all of them), it appears we should rather make laws against factory farming and unnecessary human/animal contact.

Very interesting article. And now heres my 2 cents: ) At least here in america, HIV is known to be spread more commonly through homosexuals. I like to browse craigslist, ( im heterosexual for the record)..but reading around NYC sexual encoutners adds...its really mindshocking, what women look for* totoaly unprotected gangbangs and a sexual need for , well sperm* thiers always women mid 20's looking for groups of guys to bareback her* I even read a post of a 28 year old woman, like 2 years ago, in brooklyn, secratary business woman! who didnt have time for a man, but wanted a kid* her answer...7-9 guys come over and 'fill her up' then leave.
Now...reading all this, made me wonder. dont they know AIDS is out thier? other diseases? these same people, could become infected, not getting checked out, travel overseas and spread it, or locally too. the point is, thiers sex hookup websites, and placese like CL that make it so easy fo anyone to explore thier sexual urges and needs, its that easy almost. But the drawback is...diseases* People do ask thier, are you clean and D+D free...but its not enough. people do lie ya know, and people seem satisified with a simple yes answer* its careless you know? maybe that could help explaine why AIDS is so common amongst heterosexuals*
