1) Possible war looming in North Korea and South Korea
2) Economy near collapse
3) TSA tittering on explosions of anger by US citizens
4) Banking/money collapse happening before your eyes... every minute in the news
5) Missle (China) accident in California coast
6) But wait there is more....Corporate greed, Loss of jobs, Global instability....

I can go on but you get the point by now. Its TIME to resolve and understand that our "old American life" is over, This is the "new normal" ITS OVER.. We must admit it... most of us spent lavishly, had credit cards and a lifestyle of that higher than most other countries... Now the time has come for Americans to see how other countries live with basic needs and a simpler lifestyle.

No matter if you agree with this thread or not there are great changes looming for America and the world.

I strongly suggest that everyone adopt a very frugal, simple lifestyle, learn to grow your own food/meat or know someone that can provide for your families needs. We DO NOT want to depend on FEMA for our survival, now do we?

Don't worry be happy. Happy thanksgiving! These are some of the best times technologically and medically EVER! Wow with all the gadgets theres not much that I can't do without ease. People live to a good ripe old age. Violence? Statistically the last number I saw it was down along with crime which is fantastic we are safer!

Money? Hey don't sweat it, you wont need it but start educating yourself in the arts of survival and practicality. To ease your mind though it sure looks this time around they are using the petroleum jelly first so, probably not going to be an overnight thing.

PS. Ghandi, ask the question, what would ghandi do?

PSS. The only reason I say train in survival and practicality is because I think that they are skills left out from the ED system and should be taught to all, not because of well.. what you are all talking about

I've got a job. It aint the greatest but I get by.
I've got a house. It's got termites but I'm fixing that. (and the termites are all fat and happy)
I've got a vehicle that runs.
I've got a clean bill of health.
By putting in a lot of time and effort I was able to pay my bills this month.

Today I saw my grandmother, parents, aunts, uncles , brothers sisters and some cousins. They all are healthy, happy and we had a good meal.

Tomorrow I go back to work.

I don't have much but I have more than most in this world have. I'm very thankful for that.

If the world falls apart tomorrow, I'll still find a place to work or something to do.
If I lose my home I'll build a new one somehow. Otherwise, I'll live in a tent.
If I lose my vehicle I will walk.
If I lose my health, I'll do the best I can without it.
If I can't pay all my bills then I'll pay what I can.
If I don't see the rest of my family again then I'll be glad I've had more and better family than a lot of people ever get.

Thanksgiving isn't about having everything your way or even knowing it will ever go your way.
It's about being thankful for what you have now, because it can almost always be worse tomorrow.
One day tomorrow won't come, so it's best to appreciate the things you do have while you can.

You forgot two of the most important failures in our society - a corrupt, bloated, blood sucking Federal government more interested in playing global governance and socialism than doing what it is supposed to do as our National government. Second, a corrupt "citizen of the world" elitist class who look at the American people as their cattle. This includes corporations but also academics, Union bosses, entertainment industry and non-profit organizations.

The elite of this country have decided they are above the constitututional ideals, responsibilities and constraints of this Nation's culture. They fancy themselves our superiors and betters and so we are living under an insane class of people who have mistaken themselves for a global royality.

What does it mean to "get saved"? Saved from what? Does it mean you won't go to hell when you die? What happens when you are "saved"? Do you suddenly start being a "good person"? Do you start acting all churchy and religious? When you "get saved", is there a list of "dos" and "don'ts" you suddenly must live by?

Well, first typically "getting saved" ISN'T something you just wake up one day and decide to do.

As a matter of fact, many new Christians are surprised by the experience. Often, people who "get saved" were not even thinking about God or religion. They certainly didn't set out to "get saved" and lots of times are even resistant or hostile towards religion. They may think religion is for dumb people or maybe people who can be better than them, or even worse, they see all that church stuff as hypocritical since they see how supposed Christians act when they aren't in church.

So, how does it happen? How does a person like this "get saved"? Well, first of all, no one can really talk a person into it. As a matter of fact, the Bible says unless God makes the first move, a person WON'T "get saved". (John 6:64-65) Even more, the Bible says God has actually picked people BEFORE creation and time to be the people who will "get saved". (Romans 8:29-30) Not just anyone can "get saved" -- most people don't even want to or care about "getting saved". But if God predestined it, it will happen no matter what the person has done in their life. You will even hear stories of really, really bad people who "get saved".

WHAT'S FIRST?

Again, it is like God put a sensor in certain people before He made them, and then at some point in their life, God sends out a signal and the person hears it and responds. (John 10:27) Not everyone hears the signal. You can tell whether you are hearing the signal, because you will suddenly become interested in God and who or what He is. Maybe at first you won't even know what to do. Maybe you will try all kinds of religions, but if you were one picked to be "saved", you will at some point draw closer to the God of the Bible.

If you think you are hearing this signal from God, I'd first tell you to pray. Pray that God make Himself known to you. Now, this isn't likely to be a light coming down on you or a angel or spirit coming into your room. When you experience the presence of God, you won't really be able to explain it to anyone who has not. Which makes you wonder why God doesn't just come real visible to you and everyone. Could you imagine what that would do to you if He did? You wouldn't really be able to share that with anyone without them thinking you are crazy, so it's good that God does things the way He does. Oh yeah, to pray to God doesn't mean you have to know some magical words or even some magical way of doing it (folding hands, closing eyes, kneeling -- although that might be showing God you respect His power, it is not required). You can pray simply by quietly thinking your thoughts to God. You can do this anywhere, not just in a church.

Now, if you are one that God picked before the world began, you will find yourself more and more praying or talking to God. But how do you know what God is saying back to you? Will it be a voice you can hear...even if only in your head? Not really. God has a plan for how He talks to us...the Bible. God worked through time and through people to tell us His plan.

look this is a time to stop and really look to our bibles right now... this is very serious ... if you are reading this then your thinking why the bible and why now .... now!!!! this month God revealed him self to me..now i thought till that point i was saved.. but as a 30 year old father.i knew this was all different.. this is so different all the suddenly i received this knowledge out of no where . but i ran with it. i had faith..i asked God to show me the way and he did things were coming so fast and with a sense of urgency i started reading my bible and i felt the need to read the last book.. the book of the end of the world... but to gods chosen our new heaven... god says with the faith of a mustard seed you can move mountains ..... well fema already has let us know what side they are playing on... this might even be my last time writing this .before u know who comes.. you know what i mean...just Google fema train... this is our new ride and last fancy ride to death...all these tracks have contraction camps where we will be gassed.. look it up the stuff show was paid withlives to show you the truth fema has a base in Colorado its protected by military ... f you show up when things go crazy .. you will be shot dead... look it up... the bible talks of this to...he says... you can hide in your mountains ill bring them down on you.... if you are still reading this then you have the hope that so many people don't have .. the bible say 144,000 ... people are gods chosen.. what we have been taught in the past i can sum up in a few words that will confirm that you are here cause you Gods chosen ... pray to God and read his answers...as he talks to you thru the bible.. what he has told to me now is mark 1,2 (look i am sending my messenger ahead of you .. who will prepare your way..a voice crying out in the wilderness . prepare the way for the lord.. make his faith straight..). and the internet is sure a jungle of wilderness.. .. and some people will hate and talk down.. well god showed me thru the bible of these things...look as a rap up look up rex 84.. this will also tightn up the things with fema and Marshal law and death from our great government..Among other things, we are told (Gods people)in the Bible to LOVE, SERVE, TRUST and SEEK God, but in all the lead verses showing these from the Bible are the words with all your heart. God wants us to be serious and responsible about these and not lukewarm. What's at stake? Eternal souls are at stake – yours, mine and other people whom we can reach with God's word...

Please grab a hold of your panic and sanity.

I though we were talking about politics and real life issues here...not religion. Thanksgiving isn't even a religious holiday, it's a secular holiday.

Ok Chicken Little, but it has been much worse before. America has been in worse places economically, geopolitically, has had graver violation of basic rights (slavery and non-universal suffrage is a lot worse than what the TSA is doing...not that what they're doing isn't wrong), has had monetary collapse, and has had a loss of jobs and far worse corporate greed in the past.

It'll get better, we'll get out of it.

I bet two years ago someone here said that 2008 would be the last Thanksgiving ever, but check it out...it's 2010 and we're still kicking.

...a polar shift isn't going to do much to...well...anything. We'll compensate our compasses by making sure that we remember that the little red needle is now pointing south instead of north.

A few other pieces of technology that require magnetic north will have to be recalibrated as well, but that's about it.

It's not over. It's not going to be the last Thankgiving. However, in the future, Thanksgiving will be more sparse and people will be more grateful for what they have .. instead of just expecting to be able to pig out and shop. It'll be more like it's intended purpose .. celebrate the harvest and give thanks for life and what we have.

Sorry to interrupt the fun. Despite the critical economic situations.. despite the doom & gloom forecasts, USA will survive for very very long time.

It's still the world's reserve currency. USA, TPTB, NWO and freemasons have all the tricks and control switches to turn things around the way the they want. Whatever manipulations, crimes and evils they committed, they're unstoppable (as long as God allows it to happen).
