Thats it and him getting groped is no different then anyone else the TSA is groping. Ron Paul just has more money then most people and his supporters are brainwashed *lets bash peoples heads in* if they don't like him... He's a lil hitler with his scum bags that follow him.

Wow. That is so uncool and uncalled for.

Every politician has money. It depends where they originally got it that matters. There's old money (bloodline) and new money.
Ron Paul didn't come from an inbred career politician lineage. He was a doctor so he's new money. I do believe he's 'saying' too much without a method of 'doing' but other than that, he speaks for many.

The majority of his followers aren't brainwashed. They just like and resonate with his words. If ANYTHING Obama-clan are brainwashed. "Change". Yeah right.
And the Bush clan were bamboozled with bullchit too.

I tell you, right about now I am ashamed to be an American. When I see a flag, I feel like burning it so I can imagine how other countries feel about us but, that's a bit off-topic.

One thing I do agree with you on is, Ron Paul will never make it into the White House. Too many check points to get through and the bad-boys will make sure he won't get close to the Oval Office. They'll safely keep him in the House. Far enough away not to matter yet close enough to the public to continue to divide this country.

Divide and conquer anyone?

Maybe you guys should ask yourselves a question....why did your hero, Mr Liberty Ron Paul consent to these "illegal" and "unconstitutional" searches????

Seems like he doesn't really stand up for what he says....all talk...no action.

But I'm sure that won't stop you guys from loving him.

God bless Ron Paul, the only person that has the guts to stand up to these criminals.I really hope he runs in 2012.We need someone like this to bring our country back to the people, and I know he's the one to do it.I wish that we could all pull together and protest every airport in the country and not fly until they revamp the whole system. It is not a privilege to fly but a service to the people, just like the grocery stores just like gas stations, and anything we have to pay to use.Have you ever noticed that when in a store the sales people expect you to say thank you?like they have done you the service for taking your money? It's crazy how things have turned around.

Except he didn't stand up to anyone. He fell in line and did exactly what he was told to do....even though he claims these searches are illegal and unconstitutional.

He wants OTHER people to boycott and refuse these searches...but he isn't man enough to do it himself.

Ron Paul = Spineless

What the hell did you expect him to do right then and there? Whip out a legislation and fax it over to Congress via his iPhone?
Good gawd.

You mean the man that once said:

Boy, it sure burns me to have a national holiday for that pro-communist philanderer Martin Luther King. I voted against this outrage time and time again as a Congressman. What an infamy that Ronald Reagan approved it! We can thank him for our annual Hate Whitey Day

And

Homosexuals, not to speak of the rest of society, were far better off when social pressure forced them to hide their activities.

And your point?

He was a communist.
On Labor Day, 1957, a special meeting was attended by Martin Luther King and four others at a strange institution called the Highlander Folk School in Monteagle, Tennessee. The Highlander Folk School was a Communist front, having been founded by Myles Horton (Communist Party organizer for Tennessee) and Don West (Communist Party organizer for North Carolina).

If you want me to discredit you further (as I have in the past) I'll gladly correspond with you on U2U.
Some times the truth hurts Ozzy. Grow thicker skin or change your ways.
Ron Paul is against the deConstitutionalizing regime that is currently in US power.
Perhaps if you became more active in Australian politics, and promote Australian justice,
you would see the point of Ron Paul.

You go ahead and worship him though...even though he is spineless...worship your REPUBLICAN hero who claims he is Libetarian (more actions that don't back up his talk).

I just take solace in the fact that this crazy old man has zero chance of ever being President.

I think he has to follow the laws as they stand being in congress and all,was he proving a point to all of this and actually I'm surprised he did go through them what I mean is has any other person in congress gone through the scanners?Seems to me there all exempt from the pat downs and scanners.Ron Paul treats himself like a regular American.Look at John Bonner he was exempt as all the rest of them are, their not going to be inconvenienced.

d by Paul William Tenny advertisement Let them go through the porno-scans and groping. All of them, plus their spouse and kids. Then let's see how long it takes for the security theater to change. Representative John A. Boehner, soon to be the Speaker of the House, has pledged to fly commercial airlines back to his home district in Ohio. But that does not mean that he will be subjected to the hassles of ordinary passengers, including the controversial security pat-downs. As he left Washington on Friday, Mr. Boehner headed across the Potomac River to Reagan National Airport, which was bustling with afternoon travelers. But there was no waiting in line for Mr. Boehner, who was escorted around the metal detectors and body scanners, and taken directly to the gate.

The only thing the airline industries will listen to is money.

If enough people refused to fly, particularly today. If enough people boycotted flying and all the airline's profits fell they would put pressure on Washington to eliminate the scanner and pat downs.

But, if most people comply, line up like good little sheep and continue to allow this, it will only get worse.

It's not just the radiation, or the indignity of being treated like a criminal, it is the entire principle of yet another freedom out the window.

Welllll, according to all the Lame Stream Media reports this morning, there is no slowdown or bottlenecks of anykind at any airport. Days and weeks of yammering about 'rights' has come to this. Game over. Accept it, there will be no mass awakening whatsoever.

You're not even remotely pretending to come up with a scenario that Ron Paul could've done to help or even avert the situation.
Tell me (putting your anti-Paul hatred on the back burner for now) what would YOU have done if you were him?

It's not about lost "rights"....it's about most people being sensible enough to realize that things have changed a bit and realize the need for this security.

Last report I heard...there were 600 TOTAL complaints about the TSA searches. I think there are over a million people flying a day...it's not a big issue.

But I just love how people here on ATS claim to be able to see through what the media is telling you (ahem...The Lame Stream Media)...and yet it is the SAME MEDIA that is hyping up this issue. All of you are being lead by the nose to think this is a huge issue...but reality doesn't support that view.

I'm a supporter of Dr Ron Paul, but he would have known ahead of time before he flew that he would have had to go through the pat down if he had replacement body parts that didn't allow him to go through the scanners.

I think he's sensationalizing a normal security procedure.

What makes me laugh, is that right now I'm watching CNN FILMING security procedures at an airport, reporting right from the security area at Tampa airport. Other nations wouldn't allow film crews anywhere NEAR their high security areas.

"Airport Security" in the Western World is laughable at best, an inconvenience at worst for anyone wanting to get anything on a plane. It doesn't make me feel safer. If any terrorist organization wanted to get something on a plane they would simply pay off an airplane cleaner, baggage handler, security agent, or a host of other people who work at airports to look the other way.

About three months ago, I went through airport "security" and told the guard who told me which security gate to go through that I personally knew both the person manning the xray station and the person with the wand scanner at that station so thought it best that I go through the other station. His response? Oh, that's fine, just go through with them.......

About 10 years ago I bought a SHOTGUN into the country from Europe and was told by a security agent that stopped me "oh, just go through the green 'nothing to declare' channel !!!! Told him that I HAD to go through the red channel to get forms stamped as per my local police (they had told me they didn't have the forms at the green channel), and actually had to argue at length with him to be allowed to go through the red channel. When I got to the red channel, they just stamped the form without even a cursory glance at the weapon. This was flying through Vancouver International, a major gateway in Canada.

What's to stop a terrorist from paying off an already low paid security guard to look the other way, and just make sure they're on duty when they go through?

Please tell me that's a typo. Please. I can't believe someone bought into a 'need' for the TSA and is actually a member on this site.
A 'need'?

You know where there's a need for something? There's a need to have every single person in Washington DC strapped up to a polygraph machine and when that's done, have every president produce their birth certificate.
How about we start with THOSE 'needs' first.

We're the innocents ones.
They're the bad guys making up more bad guys in order to make money that....we don't have!!!!!!!!!

What is wrong with you? Really?
No need to answer. Rhetorical question!

OutKast Searcher : I have not flown since Sept. 2000. Over ten years ago. My feelings are independent of any LSM or other input. I make up my own mind, so please do not assume I, or anyone else for that matter is ' led by the nose'. I knew it wasn't a big issue for the vast majority simply by the conversations with people from all walks of life.

You know it has been proven already that Ron Paul never said those things, thus discrediting your entire post...right?

By the way, your "source" is pure and utter silliness. The Highlander School ( Still open today) "is an adult education center that supports "people fighting for justice, equality and sustainability, supporting their efforts to take collective action to shape their own destiny."

Look on any LEGIT website and you will see there is nothing communist about the place.

And even if it WERE true ( which it is not) McCarthyism Ended a long time ago buddy. Being a communist has not made you a devil worshiping evil doer hell bent on destroying the world since the 60's..... :/

Welcome to 2010 buddy.Hell, it's nearly 2011. Get with the times man.

Ron Paul Never said those things... So... Please try again. Thanks. Have a great day.

You are the second person to claim that it has been proven that Ron Paul didn't say those things...and yet no source...why not???

The only "proof" I have seen that he didn't write those things (even though they were published under his name) is him saying he didn't write those things while interviewed about them recently (2007/2008).

Are you claiming the newsletter that contained this stuff was never published under his name....or are you claiming that you believe him when he says he didn't write it?
