You are right on the money (pardon the pun), not only did the Germans try this once before, they DID this once before...didn't work out to well for them either, as it won't work out well for us either.

Since this was instituted by China's and Russia's governments then political issues would definitely be involved, but primarily this is a strategy to make these two countries better cope with global economic market forces in their trade with each other.

You will find that every government of every country engages in making it easier to trade with that country and help their economy - it is a government mandate - and the US is most active and assertive in this practice.

What basically is happening is that each country is measuring the value of their respective currency against each other and not the $US. They have just cut out the $US as the yardstick or the middleman if you like.

The market already crashed, if it crash's again no big deal, it just means WW3 is on it's way, just like WW2. America isn't stupid, things are done for a reason. Japan demanded USA and South Korea to attack with thier forces, we'll soon find out who our allies are. I don't blame them, after all North Korea flew a missle over thier country, they sank a South Korean Warship, and just attacked a South Korean militray base. They continue to manufacture nuclear bombs, It's no secret. China has been dropping enough bonds over the years to keep our economy from recovering faster. Now there sign of Job recovery, and now they drop or dollar. This is a financial war on the United States. China has more than a trillion in reserves they could drop us anytime without that much of an impact. China's general population has always hated america, they just needed us to grow. We do have always plan you can be assued of that.

Si se puede is by the fighting the man; the underdog. Just because Obama used a version of it doesn't mean somehow the message is tainted. It's about strength in number against a minority of controlling interests.

Sometimes it seems like the left and right hand are fighting so much on this site that they ignore the other for everything and never see the bigger picture.
