You think I'm afraid? Sorry pal but I've been in a warzone. I've seen the things these people can do and this isn't out of fear at all. It's called a precaution, if you knew something could possibly happen wouldn't you use the best tools at your disposal to make sure it didn't? An yes these are the tools at our disposal at this time.

Thanks at least someone who has a head on their shoulders, I think people really do forget how sue happy America is and that everyone and I mean EVERYONE, is trying to make a buck off of ANYTHING. So wouldn't getting a pat down at the airport be an easy place to call for sexual harassment? Use your heads people if the MSM is backing this, what side are you really on? I mean you do realize the ABC reporter said it was worse then going to the gynecologist when the TSA agent felt the inside of her underwear band because you can hide packets there, maybe she forgot that the gynecologist actually touches your vagina! Ridiculous anyway to make a buck in this country and we'll see if the ABC reporter doesn't get payed!

Heretic I love you, theres no hard feelings between the two of us at all, your the calmest debater I know and I really really respect that. At least you can see the shades of gray and aren't so quick to jump to a side. Although I am for these devices I'm not saying they don't have to modify the process, thanks for your very intelligent input and I'm happy to hear so people feel the same as I do and also find the MSM's motives suspicious.

Everyone who isn't for the machines, they clearly stated that they are the minority on the issue nationwide, so I said since I'm the minority on the site (this thread) your all being hypocrites. Since you want your voice heard on the subject but won't give someone who's clearly out numbered here the time of day, you just heckle and don't even debate the topic just say I'm wrong thats that. Sorry that was too much for you to absorb.

If you refuse the machines that raises suspicion and I agree if you don't want the pat down that's fine but here's the clincher... don't fly and go on a no fly list I'm all cool with that. Refuse all you want!

No it doesn't, the "liberties" we have here are for the people yes but if you don't follow the rules, then no you won't be allowed to fly... Don't ask me go to the airport and see how it plays out. If you refuse the machines and then the pat down thats fine but you are then raising suspicion about yourself so then you are put on a no fly list and should be allowed to leave. Like I said to the other poster no one says you have to fly, take a boat if you don't want any human contact. Otherwise you travel down your road and then come back here after they don't let you fly.

I think it does because the airports as far as I know aren't heavily funded by tax dollars but instead work off of profits. So basically I'm pretty damn sure that if you don't follow their rules they don't have to let you fly, kind of like how you can't take pictures in a casino, you have the right too but not on their turf.

You really suggested that we get information on what is really going on in the world from both google and youtube? I mean do you really believe those are the best places to find the information? I mean if our country is who you say they are wouldn't they have many things in place to make that information no existent? I mean come on google and youtube... really?

Whoa whoa whoa that's funny someone has a different opinion on this site and he's asked why is he here? That's the problem with this country in general and my problem with this whole situation. The MSM favors your viewpoint, don't you find that a bit suspicious? ABC reporters offering to go through the process and then crying harassment? That isn't the least bit suspicious to you? I do truely believe these machines are better then just a metal detector, prove me wrong. They can spot weapons not made of metal so we're already plus 1, need I go on? I mean really why wouldn't people favor something that is clearly better then the old? Have you even taken into context any of the pros to this? Or has the MSM brainwashed you into believing the TSA agents are going to grab your balls? Your the minority on this situation nationwide, although I think your wrong you still should have a voice. I'm the minority on this thread, so I would hope you'd like me to have my voice as well, isn't that what you all have been whining about in the first place... Rights? Thanks for acting like an ATS dictator!

Wouldn't you worry about security you could control? Also don't worry your car will drive itself soon, then we'll be back on the fact that you should have the right to drive yourself, and I'm sure no one here will point to the insane amount of deaths from it yearly. They'll be screaming about rights.

I'll admit that I have not read every single post in this thread, but, I haven't seen anyone ask what I think are the pertinent questions regarding this story.

Why are people being made to submit to any kind of search after they disembark from a flight?
Are they re-entering the country? OK...
Didn't they have to produce a passport in order to board the airplane?
Did they not have to submit to any US Customs Protocols before they were brought into the country on a jetliner?

1. Only after an international flight.
2. Of course you have to produce a passport but you are still searched when reentering the country I just flew 3 months ago and was subjected to both the AIT and a patdown. (maybe my camoflage shorts... dunno) But I didn't mind.
3. Yes they did but you are searched again when in a US airport... protocol.

My opinion: I think this is complete and utter bull, to me these devices stop more harm then they cause and the only reason people are getting patted down is because they refuse the scanner or set off the metal detector. To anyone who will say these scanners cause cancer, brain disease, etc. I'd like you to post actual proof that you will gain a condition from these devices while only seldom having to walk through one. To anyone saying that being touched like this is "unconstitutional" I say to you; Would a cavity search be better?

I'm more likely to be killed slipping in my shower than in a terrorist attack on a plane. Maybe you'd like DHS agents to help me out of the tub too? That way I could stay safe and the government would still get to see me naked. If you let them install the naked scanners in airports, how long will it be before they start installing them everywhere? I personally have something called dignity and self-respect. You obviously lost yours a long time ago.

In addition, if every airport in the US had naked scanners, a terrorist will just use another country as his or her point of departure. Good Job.

Sedatives are at our disposal. Do you suggest TSA drug all the passengers, strip them naked, perform searches of their colons, and then stack the bodies in the luggage compartments for transport? It's the only way to be really sure they don't have explosives on them. God forbid a planes blows up because the TSA forgot to check everyone's rectums.

Like I said before and I'll say again if your "uncomfortable" with it, find another way to travel. A plane isn't the only way and believe me I do get it, people need to suck up their pride and go through it or don't fly.

What a ridiculous statement m8.

Wanna retract it ?

Again people you keep bringing up idiotic points, what does slipping in the tub have anything to do with a plane in the air exploding? Like I said before and I'll say again air emergencies ARE SOMETHING THAT COULD BE PREVENTED, you slipping in the shower is an accident... get where I'm going? Also I made the comment that eventually cars will drive themselves for you since they cause tons of deaths and then you same people will be on here complaining that you should be able to drive your own car. Again if something could help a problem, why not want it. Also answer this question that I have asked many people, this is to replace the metal detectors in the airport, so please tell me how this isn't better then a metal detector when it can spot items not made of metal?

Way to take things out of context, I certainly hope they do all that to you. Since that would be an extremely bigger idea then what we're even discussing, I hope your the first to try it out... clearly you must be fascinated with rectums.
