Music with inspirational and/or philosophical meaning

I vote this song to be the most inspirational song to me. Linkin Park really knew how to do a song that teaches a good moral lesson.



That is another song I enjoy and find inspirational meaning in.

I got turned on to Micheal Franti a few years back and it was the first album in a long time that I enjoyed every song from beginning to end. It was recorded in Kingstown Jamaica where Marley recorded also. It definately has a few messages and I would highly recommend the album, Yellfire.

I am going to exchange one angry one for one beautiful one. This song and performance really cuts thru to the heart and I would certainly qualify it as inspirational, and poetry in motion.

The first one doesn't really belong, its the same old "monster inside me" "I'm different" "battle against myself" teenage stuff that everyone is singing.

Everything sounds the same these days, I just kind of stopped listening to modern vocals.
None of it has meaning anymore, just "sing what appeals to them and sell millions" stuff.

Love the NOFX ones, one of my favorite bands (can't believe they are on here with the T&C!!). Great picks. I have a few I would like to post that helped me... (Some NOFX, Queen, Slipknot and others) But sadly my pc is... well, ancient (P3 486 mhz 256 ram) and I crash if I try to do many things... If someone could help me out and please post them u2u me. Otherwise, great thread.

John Frusciante is my favorite artist. Everything he did with the Red Hot Chili Peppers was amazing and his solo work is out of this world. When he plays it is like the whole universe runs through him. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Tool.. I saw someone mention it but not the song I was thinking of : Aenema. It sounds pessimistic and mysanthropic, but Its actually about renewal.. a change. BOY, CAN I IDENTIFY!
