What Now America? Do we kneel?

From ZeroHedge and "Cognitive Dissonance" we have this.

Among the richest and most powerful, the senior partners of Crony America if you will, it was always understood that sharing the wealth with the lower class was simply a means to an end and would cease when it was no longer profitable to do so. Only those in deep denial cannot see that we have reached that point today.

So, what now?

Each of us has to decide how much we can take, and how long we will watch them take it.

Note at the bottom, the "new" bill of rights. In practice, we really no longer have them....do we?

We pray...

Or instead of the usual melodramatic ATS post, I will post an absurd idea that will probably work.
We beg some other country fir cash to pay off debt, then we borrow from the same country we payed the debt to so that we can pay the other country we borrowed from.

Rinse and repeat.

I think praying sounds better.

Although, it is "sort of" like begging.

This OP, video, and article deserved a serious *Round of Applause* . Very in depth and informative. I love how it breaks down every single detail about what The Constitution really is, and Whoo it is, for - I still can't get over it, a True Conspiracy and it needs to get out there.

What now America?
What noW World.

I hate saying it, but it would truly take an act of God to save The Unsinkable from The Icebergsteins and Bankers. *gasp*

I know I don't want to be here anymore. Think I'll set sail, off to a distant shore, I see a new sun Rising Up from the clouds of the storm.

I'm tired of the rat race, I'm tired of feds winking off at tax payer's expense.

Thank you for actually READING it. So many don't take the time, it seems.
I guess, that is a clue to our problems.

Thanks for the thread. It is a fine essay. Unfortunately it rings very true. So the question is then, do we as slaves, try to unite and create that which we've had only a taste of? A truly free and open society, which if done correctly, could push the bar higher than many could imagine for the entire human race. Or do we break down and give in to human nature and take advantage of this personal knowledge to try and climb on the backs of those beneath us and help ourselves. The latter of course will in no way free us but will allow us to slightly improve our lot in life at the detriment of other slaves. Unfortunately I think too many will choose the latter to allow the amazing possibilities of the former.

It does not appear we, as a people, can unite for the greater good of ALL of us. Those that control the news/propaganda have done a good job of keeping people divided. We all need to learn that we don't have to agree on everything, just what the role of government is. If we can do that, we have a chance.
The big problem is communication. People can't communicate with each other on a large scale. It is us against the enemy, and the enemy controls the means of communication. Just look at ATS. With a relative few members bringing alternative news and views, many people now realize the world is not as it has been advertised to be.
We have to define the role of government, and get the rule of LAW and Justice back, because it is definitely gone.
Thanks for the comment.

S&F Stewie,

I'm only partway through the essay but I'm already convinced that the author has sussed the plot.

I wish I had a penny for every time someone told me that anyone can succeed if they just work hard enough!

Thank you.
Yes, I grew up with the "just rewards" mantra too. If only the world really worked that way. It really breaks my heart to hear from the truly brainwashed people, but then I think of those that tried to tell me the truth when I didn't listen.
Now I seek them out to see what else they can teach me, and to thank them for trying. And I keep fighting the good fight, knowing all to well that I actually know very little.
Thanks for the comment.

I've finished reading it now and fully agree with those who rated it as brilliant!

The only point that I can argue with is the idea of "I must do something about this." As I've said in previous threads, the trouble is knowing what to do. Most of the ideas that immediately spring to mind have either been tried unsuccessfully or have been sensibly argued as either impractical or counterproductive.

We cannot outgun them or vote them out of power. We cannot compete with them because they control the markets and the political and financial systems and will shut us down if we get too big or powerful in any of these areas. That's what they did to the burgeoning socialist parties in the 20th century. That's what they do to any nation that doesn't play according to the Fed rules (e.g. Iran, Venezuala, North Korea.)

The only thing that we seem to be able to do usefully is spreading the word in the hopes that one day either by overwhelming numbers or brilliant invention, we'll find a chink in the armour and break through before they can defend it.

Until then, I'm looking for the chink and "living in hope!"

I agree that there is very little the individual can do alone directly against the machine. "Directly" being the key word here.
But, the individual has far more power in my mind than s/he often believes. Like a little seed that transforms into something that produces many more seeds and food and beauty in the process. It is all about doing what we were born to do. Going up against a paid brute with body armor certainly seems to be a waste of MY human potential.

I don't know about you, but something is going on that I can't quite nail down. The reality of the world as opposed to how most people perceive it has never been so far apart as it seems to be today. It has to have an affect on all of us, even those that "think" they have a grip. Our subconscious knows something is not right even if our conscious mind is preoccupied with the daily diversion. To me, it simply HAS to be a form of mental illness that is seemingly forced onto the masses if they accept this altered reality.

Difficult to convey my thoughts on this matter, I hope it comes across reasonably well.

This documentary gives a pretty plausible explanation for the mental illness that you mentioned.
