Liberals are endangering American lives in the name of POLITICS

I was talking with my husband about this tonight and something struck me and that is:
the ACLU who back in the 60 and 70's started the pc thing which was basically telling people HOW TO THINK & WHAT TO THINK.


From then on people have been shutting up if something crosses their path that they don't agree with or offends them.
So we let the ethics go out the window this way.
By not saying anything, people think they can do what they want because nobody is doing anything about it to stop them.

We're living in a lawless society where the wrong is right, sexual images are now labelled as "art" , sexualized television is showing teenage girls it's COOL to dress like a skank, liberal teachers are weaving a biased blanket over student's eyes, god has now become an evil image, that ahole athiest that wants under god taken out of the pledge all the while subjecting his child to a burden that she didn't ask for or what, she had no problem saying it but he did. Some examples of whats going on today.


I was talking to an ethics professor and he went on to tell me how every YEAR students are getting dumber, walking into class with no objective reasoning, their answers seem to be one sided, and lacking relativism, they don't even know what those words are! The student's are getting dumbed down every year.

Liberals i'm blaming you..... YOu have no ethics, no morale, and your so self righteous and egotistical you'd be willing to sacrifice your children's well being in the name of a few mins of fame or monetary gain, your so arrogant and stubborn you'd be willing to put your fellow American's safety at risk because you want to run your newspaper articles into the ground about how awful the president and his gang are.



You guys speak out of hate, you have no plan for anything, your reasoning is, well you don't have any sound reasoning or logic to begin with so I can't even insult you on that, you claim it's everybody else's fault but your own if you don't succeed, or if you don't get elected... ie/ gore.

It's always someone else or something else, never the liberals, they are UNTOUCHABLE, they are so perfect thats why everybody loves them.
That's why they need a retard gang made up of Kennedy, Hillary, Gore, Billy goat, and Kerry... The dream team! A bunch of losers who haven't contributed # to this country , and yet think they have the right to bitch and moan about the other parties wrong doings, and still have no answer or plan to make this country better...

They all want first place yet none of them have come to the table to offer Americans anything........ Except for totally leftist socialist ideologies which the majority doesn't want... Because it's not another #ing North Korea!


This parties politics have gone so far out the window i'm scared for the country if they get elected.

They are so #ing evil and backwards......... Just like the communist countries were and are...
They've follwed suit. No longer is God our friend, no longer is sticking up for whats right allowed, no longer is logic looked up upon, no longer is objectivism and relativism looked up upon, no longer are self run businesses smiled upon, but everything is the opposite!

Your evil if you have lot's of money and work hard for yourself and to provide for your family, your evil if you love god, your stupid if you think for yourself, your wrong if you stick up for what you think is right, it's ok kill babies after a certain month, it's ok and fair to let murderer's off death row, it's ok to let gays marry, and it's ok to run around smoking pot ect...


This isn't a rant, this is actually how things are going in the big picture and will become if the liberals get in office.
It's not the party it used to be.

This country will be so insecure so lawless so empty headed, godless, ect..

And media isn't helping, instead of banding together to make this country safer, they are putting American lives at risk in the name of politics.

Well, true lies sat and downgraded what she says is wrong with the country and then starts to do exactly what she claims liberals are doing. That is very interesting.

She types that it is all the liberals fault, and then proceeds to bad mouth and call names. She wonders why the country is so screwed up.

Lies, the blame lies on both sides of the fence. You are a perfect example. You speak of liberals being the way they are, and then you give a great example of the way the other side of the fence works. Your words are full of hate and fear, the two true human emotions.

I agree with TrueLies about the way the ACLU and a lot of liberals are f'ing up society with all the politically correct crap. It's a bunch of BS, it really is. I can't voice my opinion about anything without having people jump down my throat and call me evil and a horrible person. The ACLU is trying to take away our ability to have opinions (well unless it suits their agenda or some random minority group).

She has the right to do that, you know. madmancrosswater you're a liberal, and you're basically providing an example of what TrueLies is saying. Another thing that gets me about the ACLU and a lot of liberals is the fact that they care so much about all these different group's rights and stuff like this, but then they view the Christian religion as something downright evil. If anything has the word God in it, or if anyone talks about Jesus in a public place the ACLU will jump all over it. But then again if someone wants to talk about Islam in a public place and people jumped all over them, the ACLU would be in a friggin uproar. I always say that hating Christianity is one of the last accepted forms of prejudice and hate against a group of people. And that is one of the "loving" ACLU's main agendas; to basically rid the country of Christianity.

Phew... That was sort of a rant, but hey I hope I got my point across.

If you and truelies can tell me who Dick Armey is, and what organization he joined recently, and the reason for it you both get two brownie points.

The ACLU is for protection of rights protected under the Bill of Rights. It is NOT a liberal or leftist organization. It has taken many positions on both sides of the fence. Everyone should be a member.

I'll be honest I didn't know what organization Dick Armey (the former house majority leader) joined recently but after a bit if research I found out that he is now the chairman of Citizens for a Sound Economy (is that what you were talking about?) I'm not quite sure his reasons behind it, I'm ignorant on that part, sorry.

The ACLU has done some good things, I admit. And at the basic level they're a good organization, the premise is a great one. But lately it seems that the good thing the ACLU started as is straying farther away from it's original purpose. The ACLU is taking the concept of "separation of church and state" waaaay too far, it's ridiculous. They're on a crusade against Christianity, that's what it seems to me.

Liberals and conservatives will always clash over issues, I think we all know this. But a line has to be drawn somewhere. Will it end with outlawing Christianity from the country? Or perhaps it will end with the morality of our country dropping to an all time low and our society crumbling.

I personally do not want my future children to live in a country where sex and immorality is rampant, no one can voice their opinion because they'll be arrested for a hate crime, and where God is outlawed. And it seems to me that this is the agenda and goal of the ACLU.

I agree in principle with what true lies and faisca are saying. The fact is P.C. has gone way to far. If I were to stand up in a room and say "I'm proud to be white", people will automatically assume that I'm a racist. Why? If a black man stands up and says "i'm proud to be black" Hes applauded. When did Pro-white become anti-black? I once told a coworker I was proud to be a man, she replied "Thats because you're a sexist pig" to which the whole room, men and women, applauded. Now why does being proud to be a man make me a sexist? I never said men were better just that I was proud of who I am. Why does a white males pride in himself have to be viewed as insulting to everyone else?
I am a christian I believe in Jesus christ as my savior, and because He said "the only way into heaven is through me" I beleve that anyone who does not believe in Christ is not going to heaven. However I do not hate jews or muslims, I just dont think they are going to heaven. As a result I pray that god opens thier eyes to what I believe is the true faith so they will not be cut off from the lords love (I believe hell is being cut off from gods love, not his personal torture chamber) Does that make me a bad person?

Once at my college some club or group put big posters around campus one day. They said "Wear bluejeans today if you're gay." It was a ploy to make people be like "holy # I'm wearing blue jeans people are gonna think I'm gay" and then feel bad about themselves. It was the most BS thing I've ever seen in my two years at school.

One of my friends has a straight pride shirt that has a stick figure of a man and woman holding hands (and I plan on getting one too). But I'm sure if I wore that shirt I would get tons of dirty looks from people. Why? Gays can wear gay pride shirts, why can't I wear a straight pride shirt?

I wanted to put some kind of "white pride" bumper sticker on one of my old cars, and hang an American flag off the rearview mirror (like so many puerto ricans and blacks do). But if I did that people would automatically think I'm racist. My car would probably get vandalized, and I would probably be accosted. Why? Because I'm proud of my race.

Why cant I be proud to be straight, white, and Christian? Because the ACLU says that's bad.

Dick Armey joined the ACLU out of concerns that our individual rights were being compromised by the Patriot Act. Another highly thought of conservative did the same. I can't remember who he was, however.

Yes, I agree the ACLU does take some things too far. Don't we all? The ACLU is just trying to protect our basic religious freedom. It, I and probably you do not want the goverment pointing anyone of us towards a certain religion.

The people who settled this country left Europe because the governments over there wanted their people to worship a certain way and a certain religion. Though I see nothing wrong with the word God since most all religions do point towards the almighty. The problem begins when the majority religion of a country believe they have a corner on God, and in their infinite "wisdom" start acting exactly the opposite of God's intentions.

madman thank you for clarifying that. One thing I actually agree with in regards to what the ACLU does is oppose the Patriot Act. They are doing something right there.

But God in the pledge is not forcing Christianity on anyone. Having a baptism in a public park is not forcing passers by to convert to Christianity. Talking about creationism in school (along with evolution) is not forcing students to be Christians, it's merely providing an alternative to another "theory." I could go on with more points but I think you get the idea...

The ACLU is trying to protect everyone's right to practice any religion other than Christianity. I heard somethinig about how the ACLU was pushing for students in public schools to start learning the Koran. Now what would the ACLU say if someone started making students read the Bible? They'd friggin kill someone...

My honest mistake, Curme. I apologize. For some reason I thought it was the ACLU who was trying to stop them, my memory isn't working right lately.

Ok, I will be a big man and admit that there are some things the ACLU does that are good, and they're not all that bad. But along with the good they do a lot of crap that I feel they shouldn't too. My beef is with political correctness as a whole, and the ACLU is who push PC the most, so by association I end up ragging on them.

One must always do their due diligence when one "hears" things that people say and accept them as fact. I have not seen the Koran deal but I'm sure there is more to it than meets the eye.

It is like the ole saying: "Al Gore said he invented the internet". It was repeated so many times by the other side it became gospel to the people that did not like him to begin with, and some who were voting and figured he was a liar.

What Gore said was, "I helped in the creation of the internet by sponsoring legislation opening it up to the business world" or something of that matter. Gore found out in his trips through the military which he did much of about an obscure gov't program that had computers talking to each other. He learned about it and sponsored legislation way ahead of the other Senators and Congressmen who could hardly understand what he was talking about.

So, something that Gore had done that has been a big positive actually hurt him for the other side turned it into a "Lie".

Gore never, never, never made that statement.

The lock box deal. All Gore was trying to say that he would make sure each program that was being funded, i.e. social security, would have money in it where it properly belonged. That is GOOD accounting. Right now the true social security program and many others actually have NO money in them for they have been borrowed from and their figures used in devious accounting to try and make past and present budget woes better than they actually were.

There was nothing wrong with his proposals. In fact, he was trying to make the gov't actually accountable and the proper monies in the proper programs. That is the "lock box". Again he was misconstrued for actually trying to do something constructive.

Remember, if something is repeated often enough whether true or not it does become the "truth".

Liberals have been asked time and time again what they believe in, and not one can come up with any answers, all they can do is bitch, whine, advocate to the people what's wrong.
