First, spill a bunch of crap all over the floor, make a total mess and I mean MESS.

Then, deepen your voice and say-

And play while she's doing that.

It works EVERY TIME...try it...you can thank me later.

She needs an interest that will take her out of the house for a few hours on end and with other girl friends. I'd suggest getting her into scrapbooking, but that can get pricey...but works for my wife.

This way, you have some YOU time, that you can spend doing anything, including playing video games. (and if you REALLY want to cement it, spend just one of those hours doing something around the house, then she'll LOVE leaving you alone for a bit....)

ewokdisco (or Rod to inchworm) is uniquely qualified to dispense relationship advice as he has both internet access and disposable time.
