I'm not angry....Nuclear energy is the future. Just about everyone in the entire world understands this....with the exception of maybe realpolitik and shareholders of big oil corporations.

If they hadn't been sneaky about it then they would probably still be debating it instead of getting on and benefiting from it. And yes, why shouldn't they have it?

When are these meglomanic U.S. officials going to understand that they should look after their OWN affairs and stop presuming they are the world police? They can't have it all and it's nothing more than the usual BULLY tactics and the stomping of their feet like little kids.

You're talking about the U.S. dictators, right?

Or do you assume that they declare everything THEY have like good little leaders.

Pyong yang being the capital of north korea, not the leader right?

This is dangerous because North Korea is willing, seemingly, to launch a nuclear attack if it is ever attacked, or say, gets slightly mad, yes Israel has weapons too, and yes they're abit crazy sometimes. Doesn't make the north korean threat any smaller.

These people are indoctrinated to fight to the last person, what's happening in their country is sad. Kim Jong Il is a miniature Hitler, in that, he has his concentration camps going, but he hasn't attacked anyone else... yet.

When he does decide to take the leap and say, attack South Korea the casualties will be massive. If the US/world then steps in to help 30,000 soldiers could be lost in the blink of an eye in a nuclear attack.

This is why this is serious.

Yah, Kim Yong is off his rocker! Let's hope his son is a little clear minded. All we need now, is a hitler with A-Bombs! Not good at all

Every country has the right to defend themselves, be it with with nuclear weapons or otherwise. I hate how America freaks out every time another country starts producing nuclear arms. The U.S. is not the only country in the world with such rights. Jeez.

The difference being that the US will not use nukes unless they are targeted by them - NK is a different kettle of fish altogether. We can't lump the world into a pot and say we all have the same rights to nukes - because although this is about nuclear power it doesn't take a genius to see where the real motive is. Would you have Somalia have nukes? Or Sierra Leone? The less countries with access to that power the less likely we will see nuclear war. NK is just mad enough to start something like that.

And we have Hiroshima and Nagasaki to show us otherwise. No they weren't nukes and undoubtedly the circumstances were very different.

Yes NK is nuts but China will keep them on a leash. What your suggesting would be nice. Perhaps the US could lead by example.....for once.
